  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

there is one way to solve it, install only nvidia drivers from 40.72 to 56.72, in that range i had no problems (only the wrong colors on some plugins but well i have a gf4 mx too)

i have 56.72 drivers right now so if you get to solve it with your drivers please tell me how you could done it

oh by the way here is a screen of the problem solved and the configuration i use:

I remember have a old geforce2mx and a geforce4mx and all time, the best setting is use OpenGL...

the only problem is with last nvidia driver, 75 series (means numbered 75.xx, 76.00, 77.xx, 78.xx) they have big problem in opengl

you need to choice for driver :
- best compatibility : 71.89
- good performance and good IQ : 67.66
- best performance : 56.72 or 78.01(with opengl problem) (depends on which GF4 you have)

btw soniclink2, do you know you haven't the flam effect (and some other) with your setting ?

I'm looking into changing Link's shirt and pants color to brown.
I want him to look like his classic look.

I'm thinking this isn't possible by just editing textures.
I believe Link's hat, his shirt, and his pants aren't textures, but colored polygons.
So I'd probably have to edit his model to be able to do this.

Fed, I'm working on the title page for Paper Mario, and I'm really frutrated by how long it takes to piece it all together and line everything up. I did a search, and read an old post of yours that talked about how easy it was using a script. Could you give me a quick explaination on how to do this?

I just rolled my driver back to 71.89 becaus 77.77 was crashing all the time, and it did it again. It doesn't do this with anything else but N64 emus. It never did this until a couple of days ago. What's up with that?

how? on rice´s plugin? i think there is no setting for flames. this are some screens with problems on 56.72 drivers

the problem is on opengl setting with red flames an no arrow on map

have you try "opengl fragment program extension" ?
this look better than "opengl for nvidia geforce or better"...

doesn´t work for me all i get is a black screen, only putting normal combiner seems to work but everything gets grey
