What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

@mode7
I suggest you zip up your folder and upload it to a file hosting site periodically (once a month?). There are plenty of sites that offer this, and you can make the d/l links private. Then it will be possible to retrieve your files in case of an emergency :)

I love the wall and floor textures for Goron City! The eyes are a bit large, though. Keep up the good work, my friend :D

np its back!
I don't know why but it is.
So new screens from Goron City

Thanks for your great work mode7. I've just downloaded and installed the pack posted on the 1st page + your hi-res skys. Everything look great. However, I am unable to get the Hi-res Kokiri Village as the link says the download limit has been reached. Any chance of a reup?

I'm planning a replay of OOT so would be great to get the game looking as best as possible from the beginning :)

Thanks,

Yeah I think you're right. I could up them as backup. Although it's already 500mb and some of the textures are too large, so the game is slow.

Of course I will reup kokiri village, maybe with a few details changed and bundled with the first dungeon. Maybe this evening.

Concerning the eyes: I was just playing around with photos. It looks disturbingly real when animated. I wonder if they would work when made smaller. But basically, I think, I shouldn't mess with them. Link stays Link and shouldn't be made into something else.

That would be most appreciated - thanks ;)

OT: It been quite a few years since I last visited Emutalk, when I was last here I think it was 'Federelli' and 'Kman' were doing some texture mods, do you know if they still post here or are involved in emulation in anyway?

Yeah, this was a nice pack. To be honest it was superior to my work in many aspacts (not in all ;)). It was never finished, but there is quite much of the game finished. Kman doesn't want his work to be distributed anymore though.
He posted a very good tutorial here a few days ago, his name is now Xenobound.

Made a new texture for the hyrule field wall
this is probably one of the hardest textures in the game, this is my 20th or so version. What do you think.

Your work is incredible mode7, very impressed.

I never actually tried any other zelda pack I don't think, I just could remember the names 'Federelli' and 'Kman', I wonder why they left - life commitments I guess?

woah this looks amazing! I would love to try this but it looks like it's all in bits and pieces, and the link on page one (http://www.mediafire.com/?zwmnnnanquq) is down, is there any way to download the bundle'd pack? Or could someone at least point me to the most recent packs and I can put them together from there?

Sorry for the noob question, I see it's been asked a couple times but I'm confused, I don't know what i need D:

A bundled pack wouldn't make any sense ATM. 'cause things are still changing very quickly.
You just have to be patient

Ok, lol thats understandable. I was just wondering if there was any easier way to download it. I'll just pick through the links until I'm satisfied :)

Great pack guys.

Thanks for feedback guys.

Do you guys have any sense of how far along completion you are?

We? Well at the moment it's just me I think.
I can't say when it will be finished.
Maybe july, maybe end of the year, maybe never.

Good news is I'm finishing up some areas, so expect a few releases.
