What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I was trying to avoid learning so I gave the deku tree another try.
I think it's much better now. Resembles the mossy feel of the original IMO.
These textures were extremely difficult because they're almost all mirrored which can easily look odd at higher resolutions.

Anyone feedback on the deku tree?

I like your interesting choice on the ties for the wooden bridge, though I'd prefer their angles to be a little more subtle when they're repeated that often. The vines hanging from the bridge look quite out of place, however - everything else looks very organic, while the hanging vines look more like someone specifically put them there to liven up the mood. I'd say go for something a little less intentionally beautiful. The wall and floor textures, however, are totally awesome. I know the wood texture on the wall near the bridge has to be a tremendous pain with the way it repeats, so I won't be harsh on you for that.

Hm..I won't change the bridge, because it looks ok and the ties are the same as in the original.

You're probably right about the vines. I'd rather put something photo based there but it's hard to find something usable.
I could try the texture I used for the grass patches, but it probably won't work.
I also reproduced the original but it was a total mess since it has ugly colors and doesn't even tile properly. So I'm still thinking this over.

Thanks for feedback!

OK, the grass patch texture did work I don'T know why but it tiles perfectly, guess I got lucky.
Now its much closer to the original and fits the mood better.
It could still be better but I think this is as good at i can do it.

Now THAT looks awesome.

And you have a point about the bridge ties - oddly, I never noticed that before.
