What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Mode7,

It's looking great! Good job!

Hey, have you thought about displaying your screenshots full size here in the thread? It's a pain to have to click twice and open two more windows to see your pics. I use tinypic.com and insert the IMG code into the post ;) .

Later,
Jay

Just a Jupi.
I would MUCH prefer clicking to open a larger version of the image than breaking the whole damned page with an image wider than my browser window, thanks.

I'm going to put the pics on the wikipage, as soon the wiki has enough content to be attractive. I'm still working on it.

Looking great and nice vid!!!

Can you blend your main grass texture to the textures that are used adjacent to them though like the texture at the waters edge in the first pic and the big wall link is looking at in the third pic on the wiki?

The vid made me want to play it!!! :)

Take care,
Jay

As long as it is released in this thread, it is still community. But the Video is just about my work.

To be honest I'm a little disapointed about community involvement with the exception of you and duchmasta.
BTW: How is the fire temple progressing.

@GItech: I'm already aware of this the mus texture is older than the grass one so they don't fit anymore.

mode7, that is quite a video!! The music and scene transitions really add to your presentation of the textures. The beautiful sky textures in various locations were what stuck out the most for me. The web in the Deku Tree is a masterpiece! Who made it? There isn't any credits for it on the wiki page (which is well put together, I might add).

If you have the resources, I'd suggest recording the parts of the video in 1280x720 and putting them on YouTube, since it now supports HD. I know it might take a bit more work, but it would better showcase those awesome textures. You can PM me for specific details about the format and video settings you should use to get the best quality.

Thanks a lot, it was really fun to do it too. The beautiful music from the Zelda Reorchestrated Project really add to the mood.

The textures in the video were all done by me, except for the logo (I made a logo but hires easer has problems processing it).

I dont think I will be able to put the ressolution that high and have a good capture.
The original resolution is 800x600 so this would be possible. But the Youtube compression will destroy most of the quality anyway.

great stuff mode7, feel kinda guilty that you're the only one doing anything, and a great job as well. i literally have no time during the week, weekends are a possibility, but probably only 2-3 hours. left all my work in progress in my home country, so i guess i'll start from scratch on a new temple or something.

progress will be slow, but at least it's something. don't have any of my archived textures either...should be easy to find again hopefully.

That trailer is fantastic and like others have said it makes me want to go and play OOT now!

When you say 'Zelda Reorchestrated Project', do you mean it''s possible to replace the music files?

Would be cool, wouldn't it?
It's not yet possible, but theoretically yes, though probably only on a geme to game basis. It has been discussed before, just search this forum.
