    What did I miss?

Amazingly, it's been practically 2 years since I've been here (and been involved in emulation, period). Anything innovative happen?

    Some questions on 1964...

I must warn you that I'm feeling REALLY out of it, so forgive me in advance. But I have some questions about 1964... 1. I keep reading about Zelda: OoT Master Quest. Does this mean that someone actually turned the game into a ROM? How??? 2. Anyone figured out why the Majora's Mask...

    Regarding Chris MacDonald....

I come back with news from GameFAQs. I know for a fact that at least some of you have used the site. It's with great sadness that I tell you that Chris MacDonald, aka Kao Megura, has died. I do not know the ramifications of the death (the family has decided against releasing details), only...

    Another JFG problem.....

Another day, another problem with Jet Force Gemini. Anyway...Once I defeat Mizar the first time, and the three guys have their armour upgraded, it goes to the character select screen. This is where the problem lies: The only character available is Lupus, whereas all three are supposed to be...

    Night Vision mode in JFG....

So, I'm playing Jet Force Gemini normally (great job on fixing the shooting problem), and I have reached the point where I get and have to use the Night Vision Goggles for Lupus. However, when I activate the Night Vision goggles on the pad, I don't see anything. The screen looks like this...

    why......WHY?????

Why is it that an extinct API (Glide) is capable of doing near perfect graphic emulation, and a modern and advanced API (OpenGL or DirectX, take your pick) is not even close to the level the extinct one is? Someone explain this one to me....

    PD control settings....

All right, it's 2 minor questions, but still: I'm playing Perfect Dark (it works fine, don't worry) using a keyboard-mouse combination....and I can't seem to get a good feel with the mouse settings, for the head seems to move little fast and bobble..... 1. What should be the analog range? 2...

    Progress....

All I ask is, how's 1964 progressing? Not a release date, just curious to know how Rice and the rest are doing on it.

    1964 crashing....

(There was a topic on this that I responded to earlier today, but it mysteriously disappeared. Anyone know what happened to it?) I've been having a problem lately with 1964 (on W98 SE). Every time I re-open it, it has a GPF, and it freezes the computer up, forcing a reset. Often, it affects...

    Now here's something weird....

I've just started using 1964, and I must say, it works great, save one problem....it goes too fast! Is there an FPS limiter toggle or something in the GUI, or do I have to do something else? Specs if you need them: PIII 733e 128 megs PC133 SDRAM OEM GeForce2 GTS (drivers: Detonator...

General framerate drop in v. 1.5.....

(Note that I've checked most places for info) As of late, I've noticed a general framerate performance drop in v. 1.5. Most NTSC games are running at 20-40 fps, PAL running at 20-30 fps. I've used all available graphics plugins, often with the same result I used to be running at 50-60 fps...

    Zelda OOT problem.....

In v. 1.4, when I'm in the Spirit Temple as Young Link, the emulator stops when I start to fight the Dinozard in the room with the multiple Skullwalltulas. Anyone care to help me on this one?

    N-Rage, consider this....

I was thinking of something about the control plugin and how to make it better. Consider this as an idea: Using some of the Ultra/SupraHLE code, create preset keys that change the range of the analog stick. For example, if you're trying to aim your bow or hookshot in the Zelda 64 games, you...
