hehe, you should see after signature, if you filled the computer specs fields on profile. My crappy Celeron700+SiS630 makes me to think that i have a 486 with a S3 Trio...

Glide64 will be a better choice for low end video cards. Such texture problems cannot be fixed because required combiner modes are just not supported by the video cards.

OpenGL 1.1 combiner may work better for you for some games.

Jabo's is also better for lower end cards.

(I do suggest you to get a cheapest FX5200, everything will work just fine then.)

the old guy
some pics with banjo kazooie puzzle effect working.
you have to turn on complete framebuffer right agter the game starts when the bee flys into the n. otherwise (for me )it would crash the emulator. then when you press start you can see the puzzle effect.
the first pic is the puzzle coming together and the second one is it coming apart.
yes, i know they are named wrong-

I don't have any specific game issues to report, but I am wondering- with pixel shaders being the talk of these new releases, I should ask how these latest releases are for those without DX8+ cards in comparison with the last 5.3.x release. With all the discussion here is would seem like the vast majority have DX8+ cards. Is that really true or do most like me tend to keep their mouths shut (i.e. refrain from posting)?

MUCH better. Using the Pixel Shader combiner, I get less combiner-related issues. Not to say that it's perfect- but it has got a lot better. I hope the pixel shader combiner gets further enhanced to remove the remaining issues. I'm not at home and haven't got the very latest version yet, but from what I've seen so far, brilliant.

I got Goldeneye 100% flawless (PP7 correct, crates correct, sky correct) and fullspeed in Direct X mode, Pixel Shader, Software clipper (might have had S/W T&L option on as well..)

Edit: On DX7 cards, there are much less combiner problems, thus it's the people with the DX8.1+ cards seeing the biggest improvements.

As I can see only a few people don't have DX8+ cards.

It's strange... My card (er.. video chip) is DX7-compilant, and it includes OpenGL 1.1 drivers, but i get graphics issues with DX and low perfomance with OpenGL. I got a new ROM: Yoshi's Island, and i still got minor gfx issues there (text appears compressed!). Can somebody explain me why i got these issues on Doom 64:
-the picture appears moved to down while using Jabo plugins?
-that red layer on picture while using Rice Video?
-why i got no bugs with Glide64 and eVoodoo?
-why "Center Screen" does not work?

Not a Rice's Video bug. All-Star Baseball 2001 freezes with all video plugins on both 1964 and PJ64.

Rice -

Worms - Armageddon (U)[!] looks perfect and runs at 60fps most of the time, but frequently "halts" in-game (video freezes and goes to 100% usage for several seconds). Could you take a look at this? I use DirectX and "To Fit Your Video Card" or "High End" combiner with no frame buffer effects.

English: SiS Graphics sucks! :D

P.D.: No es muy lenta tu PC?,ya que el SiS 630 esta diseñado para AMD,y vos tenes Intel Celeron,y se que esa mezcla, causa el problema de lentitud extrema

rainbow6 for me looks fine, but the crosshair is funny. It's like it's made of 2 objects: the circle and the cross, however they are not set together correctly. They're sortof offset from each other.

Oh, and in turok3 (for some reason I can't take screenshots of turok3, although it works for all the other games) makes these white silouettes of different models up in the top left corner of the screen. It's wierd.
