What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Federelli's Retexture Pack for Zelda OOT and MQ

They work all versions of Ocarina of Time with "The Legend of Zelda" as the header or was it "Legend of Zelda"?

Emufan: The reason that there hasn't been updates in a while is because Fed and Kman are busy.

Long time no visit for myself, will 0.20 include all of the textures needed? Cause last time i had to goto different threads for the save/load screen for a nice texture. Nice work all of you, keep it up

That never happened with me.

Also, the pack just works better in my personal experience with 1.1. A majority of the texture. Just a few here and there.

Does anyone know the offset stuff for the lips, nose, and tunic for Link?

hey, I'm totally new to any of this so heres my very noooob question, ok ya ready:
So... I'm trying to play the enhanced OoT, I'm able to use the Rice's video plugin 6.1.1b10 as my graphics thingy but how do I use all the texture. The instructions state that i have to:
enable the "Load hi-res textures if available" option under the "Texture Filters" tab in the plugin configuration menu
But
When I go to do this it sais that I cannot edit advance options, why is that.

I've tried looking for the answer but there is just so much reading:, if you help me I'll give you an Ecookie

And the emu that you are using is... ??? ¬¬U

Try this (for Project64 1.6) ...
"Options>Settings>Options>Hide advanced settings"
-¡UNCHECK and press OK!

"Options>Graphic Plug-in (RICE 6.1.1.B10)>General Options>Hide advanced options"
-Also UNCHECK and OK.

SALUDOS!

there's a bug with the pack or its the plugin just to let you no:whistling here a pic
First of all, Fed didn't make those grass textures. Perhaps they're retextured the dirt road with the grass textures, accidently.

Thanks that did work. And yes I am using project64.
But now I'm viewing the game at about 5 FPS. The game worked perectly with original textures so I don't understand how this would make a difference. I have a bad graphics card but a pentium 4 so I thought that it could handle new textures.

For 3D graphics, just about all the graphics processing is done in hardware (IE, on the video card), not the CPU, so there's your problem. This is kind of off-topic too BTW and there's a help thread stickied in this section for just this kind of problem.

Hello, congratulations for this pack!

It´s an amazing project, but it's finished? It will be updated? There are some textures that haven´t been retexturiced...

Hey, I love the work you guys are doing but I'm wondering when your gonna update your pack again. Based off of what I've seen in the past 20 pages you have all of the item and weapon pictures and stuff replaced. I love how it looks and wanna play with it on my game! Again, your textures look awesome and I can't wait till you update again!

Character Textures

First of all, you're doing an amazing job, I'm surprised nobody is paying for you to do this work. I ran the texture filter succesfully in Project64, with a little loss on FPS, but it looks great. I noticed, however that the character textures were not changed in the game. You included new textures for Link, a Goron, and Ganondorf, but they are the same in the game. I know they're probably not complete, but this is something i would like to toy around with. Any idea how I could get into editing the character textures?

Greets,

I just got back into n64 emu, and decided to have a go with these textures.
First I'd like to say great job on the textures A++ fast delivery would like to work with again! :p

Now to get down to business, I'm having some problems with it.
When i get start up Zelda OoT, the letters in the SAVE selection are the old fuzzy ones (minor problem). Second thing is that the Start menu really lags when you start it up (bigger problem), and for some reason, even when im outside the backround is the same of my treehouse (rather annoying problem). The last thing is that my equipment selection is all messed up(rather annoying problem). Any help?

RoycroftSquires, if you check carefully, you'll see that the textures are updated, simply disable them ingame, then enable them, and see.

_sniper_ those letter's are remade, i just need the proper names for them.
If the game lags, it's your pc not being able to handle the textures.
Your equipment menu is messed because of unhandled framebuffer emulation.

i get lag when going into the equip menu too, but only untill it loads. its not a huge deal it just makes me not push start that often.

Well, your pc wasn't on your sig, when you asked.
Blame it on Rice's implementation then.

Framebuffer is simply not being emulated properly in Zelda.
