  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

WRONG! I read that its DONE, just beoing revised. now Federelli's is not done past the forest temple.

orkin has been missing since december 2005 or so, he mustn't have the time, so don't count on the cell shading plugin...

but isn't it always the same? when the cell shaded plugin is out people might say "now without being able to replace the 3D models it seems like somethings missing", there's a lot of things we want but aren't in our reach, this is one of them.
yea you are right but remplace 3D model i think will kill the game and it s not posible(just truform can make it smoother ) thx for the answer it will be cool if orkin ask djipi to release his beta version of the plugin... or how can we become beta testor if its possible. but thx for the answer :D

Trust me by any means higher polycount model importation however impossiable currently would not ruin your classic N64 games...feel or gameplay wise. Infact if anything improve re-playabilty, and keep the N64 titles for next generations to enjoy.

Okay, I'm a super newb when it comes to stuff like this, but I heard about this project googled it, and I'm in the process of downloading.

My question is, do I need additional programs besides an emulator, OoT ROM, and this?

You also need the Rice Video Plugin for the textures to load properly.

Place the RiceVideo6.1.1.dll in your plugin folder and BMGLibPNG.dll in your emulator folder, not the plugin folder.

Crap. Do I need 6.1.1? I think I have 6.1.0...

At last check it worked with 6.1.0, but there are enough improvements to make it worth getting 6.1.1b10. Assuming you have that and have followed all the instructions concerning the textures, the hires stuff will load when you play.

k i just registered just to thank you for this amazing piece you've done, amazing, i was speechless when i saw it, another thing that'll make this thing shine, would be redoing the people so they dont look like chunky things :) Lastly, oh this is good, make it so that the ropes and some plants dont look flat, so theres a good cartoony but excellent, umm, realism ( objects ) to it. btw u can't mix federillis HUD with this mod right?
EDIT: all of the outer walls are untextured and look like the old ones, why?
and i have P64 with the rice video thing, i still dont see any of the wall textures
ALSO when i reinstalled my P64 i saved the file save, so why do i have to do the game over again?

Excellent work! I have a question tho... will the next update include the English Text on the meun screen? Now the top row of the menu isn't consistent with others.

so whats the problem with the walls not loading correctly? does this mod redo everything in the game? or al least 85%?

What walls are you referring to? I know that the plugin ism´t able to load EVERYTHING, like the walls on the entrance to death montain trail. That might be the problem.

i mean that the outer walls of hyrule field, which i know, by a pic that a user here posted, is supposed to be redone, see what i mean?

Oh, those walls...I dunno, really, there is either a graphic-card problem, or you have configured it wrong, OR there could be viruses on your computer, which happened to me once, and i lost lots of files. You are sure you have done it right?

i have a X1900XT and i have " load hi res when present" thing loaded, and the files are in the right place, i thought that was it?
