What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I have no idea. I would be really nice if he would actually visit the freakin board once in a while. I honestly don't believe that he will finish it. But the least he could do is upload what he has so far for someone else who actually has time in their day to finish it. Ya know?

How do I extract the Iceows Document this project is in?
When I try to extract the files I always get this message:

"Unsupported method: 2, file The Legend of Zelda skipped"

Please help me!

Maybe you guys should try the help thread at the top of the page for these packs. That's why they're there. Read next time.

I put the textures in the hires_textures folder made The Legend Of Zelda folder and made the HUD and World Texture folders but how do I know which texture folders go in HUD or World Texture.. and are there any other folders I need besides HUD and World Textures???

I believe your just supposed to download the pack and put it in the proper section of 1964. I didn't have to make my own HUD and World Texture folders or anything so I couldn't really help you there.

put them in the hi res folder which is in the plugin folder. Then download the newest video plugin here for 1964 and you can also download 1964 from here too I think. But I couldn't tell you where they are.

hmmm I looked in the program files 1964 for a Hi-Res folder but I don't see it hmmmmm
Pretty arrogant hmmmm-ing there... Texture packs here:

http://www.emutalk.net/high-resolut...loads-2.html?highlight=texture+pack+downloads

And explanation on how to use them here:

http://www.emutalk.net/high-resolut...help-thread-djipis-also-federellis-packs.html

Also, in the help thread stands this:

PLEASE DO NOT POST FOR HELP WITH INSTALLING THE TEXTURES in the Dijipi's and Federelli's threads, as this is making progress/texture support and reports hard to find and is slowing down the mod making process why people stop to help... if you need help, continue reading below.

PLEASE take that last note seriously, people, since the "how do i use it, how do i do it, how do i install it" is getting really annoying.
