What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

The 64DD extension menu next to your file is AFAIK only present in Ocarina of Time (and not Majora's Mask).

i'm sorry i wasnt clear on my menu screens, they are for MM, and then i surfed around the forums and stuff, and saw that almost the same thing had already been done for OoT, it put a sad look on my face :p i will start my own thread, since no one seems to be posting anything at all except me, as far as retexturing goes. And no, i'm not trying to compete with Djipi, he has far greater skills than i do, all I'm really doing is keeping it alive till he releases his pack, cause other than that, he's not posting much, like his last post of "your right" :p One small thing that bothers me is that a few of you seem to think that Djipi has called dibs on retexturing these games or something. last time i checked, it was a free country, and people like my work. not to say that Djipi doesn't deserve every bit of praise he gets, after all, i wouldnt of even started this if it hadn't been for his great work to inspire me. So please, especially Im Bored, keep comments of "this has already been done, and can never be done better so quit trying" to yourselves, no offense. I work very hard on this stuff, and until you put out something to rival it, keep the comments constructive.

I think some people are being a little bit stupid, why are you complaining now?
when i posted my logo nobody was saying "djipi already made that" or someting like that.

And for the people who aren't just loving "the great djipi" (nothing personal, just how people react when someone else posts someting) maybe they like some stuff from El Kameleons pack, and some from djipi's pack. I mean, for a beginner on retexturing El Kameleon is doing a really good job.

Id just like to state I never said that, or anything to that effect. Im just saying, that as the topic title is Djipi's Cel Zelda Mod, it seems to suggests it by Djipi, and is working towards one package, one outcome...and as Djipi had already done these elements, I really did wonder why you were doing them.

Im not trying to start stuff, and for the record I think your stuff is quite good, Im just saying, it didnt make sense to me. And I wouldnt actually say anything to the effect of DONT TRY YOU WONT BE AS GOOD, and Im slightly offended that apparently thats what Ive said. But again, im not trying to start stuff, and Im actually shocked the situation has come out to this proportion...Whatever, theres not much more I can really add. Peace.

i don't know why some objects in my game are positioned wrong, it happens both with and without Djipi's mod. Spiders, treasure chests, torches and stuff will be on there sides....does anyone know why? i'm using Project 64 v1.6 and rice's video plugin 6.1.0
I am almost certain that you have a object slanting code of some kind. :)

Tjalian: The owl indicates that you saved on an owl. Clements is right. The DD symbol is only in OoT.

o, well do you know how to turn the object slanting code off? it's annoying, but maybe could it be like that because of cheats, i turned on all the cheats in the Project 64 cheat list, maybe thats why....i'll have to try without the cheats

Edit: Yup I turned them off and it works fine...lol and yea i just turned them all on, didn't even look what the codes were...thx guys

ok ok, i have to laugh at that, you turned them all on?? heh, thats bound to produce adverse effects... but yea, theres a specific code called "specific things lean" under the "beta" category, try turning that off and see if that fixes your issue.

I know this is a dumb comment but I don't have time to read 213 pages....
When is Dijipi releasing this pack? From what I have read it sounds like Dijipi is finished... but I don't see the pack posted anywhere... thanks.

Sorry, I wasn't saying Djipi had dibs on Zelda. BUT, Djipi does have dibs on his own project. :) So just make sure you post your stuff in their respective forums - your MM stuff can go in the MM forum, and if you've got some more OoT work you'd like to do, then by all means, make a thread for it! You can even call it "El Kameleon's extra Cel-da packs" or something like that, so it's intended as an alternative to Djipi's work. But when you post your stuff in here that's been done by Djipi, it looks like it's meant for this project, which is finished. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, that's just what it looks like. So post stuff in their respective forums, all will be well.

EDIT - Huzzah, I just found your MM thread, so that's pretty sweet. I'd love to see some of your stuff in Djipi's project, but I'll probably use some of your textures regardless. I like Link's face, actually.

Oh yeah, and sorry for sort of dissing your work, I admit I was getting a little irritated...I personally like Djipi's work better, but I kinda made it sound like a universal fact, like "everybody likes Djipi's stuff better", so there was no need for that. And actually, looking back, I do really like some of your character work.

So by all means, keep working! And by all means, keep working on OoT! Just don't make it part of Djipi's project, because it truly is done.

I hope I was a little clearer and more tactful this time around. :)

no problem, and i think i might just go back to OoT, cause majoras mask is just too unfamiliar to me, being as i've never been interested enough in it to actually get past snowhead...nothing compares to OoT. majoras mask has too many little things to do, you lose focus of the main plot, and theres no ganon :p i could texture up the skullkid to look like ganon :D:D

I was messing around with some plugins, and I came across Eye Candy 4000. It has a cool wood texture for it, so I started doing the house interiors. Here's my first pic.
