  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Still... the more the merrier, it's good to offer people a choice of sources, especially on the first day of release.

Almost seems like you won't have to worry about distribution Djipi. As soon as one fan gets a hold of the pack it's going to spread like wildfire by any method possible, server or no. :rolleyes:

i cant beleive i spent the last 4 hours reading 193 pages... its like a good book you just cant put down! i anxiously await the release of the pack... and a fix for them pre-rendered images, i cant get them to work *shrugs* seems as if they arent really textures at all, there is no geometry associated with them. and much too big to be textures to begin with.

Haha, a drink was more than I expected, so its very welcome :p As far as the pack goes, i'm one of them people that can't really appreciate something unless i've done it myself, so I might take a stab at some stuff, but I hate to say that, cause i'm afraid I wont finish it :p Either way, it'll be a good time had by all.

I don't think that has ever cross my mind, however, the thought if it now makes me shudder. What would make it worse is if Djipi put the life of these textures into the hands of a MAXTOR. Then we would have something to worry about.

DJIPI BURN A CD OF THE PACK AS SOON AS YOU READ THIS! I am guessing he already has but it is definately a good idea. I don't know about him but I would just chuck my compy out the window if that happened.
