  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

@Chaoszerox - I like the edging border on there, and at first i thought it needed to be color matched. But it actually looks cool with the stark contrast.

However, adding the ground base texture inbetween the tassels is a good idea, but it just didn't work out well with blending in to the actual ground texture :( There's gotta be another way to do it.

Also, in zooming in on the screenies, I think i see an edge in the carpet where it's not seamless. Maybe just like a couple pixels wide, it's very very small.

Besides those points, the rug is awesome!
As far as the edge you're talking about, do you mean one in the corner? That's unavoidable I'm afraid.

Looking again I think I see what you're talking about, I'll get on it.

Looks nice, but the carpet needs to be a little less saturated or something imo. =x
Compare it to the original and you might change your mind

also guys, what about that pink? thoughts? should it be changed?
EDIT: Hey! Easy way to fix the tassels so that they seam better with the ground - the space inbetween them, fill them up with more of the dark threads that look like hair!
What? how? what's a tassel?

I'm still of the opinion that the rug needs to be more ratty. I'd want someone to back me up though because I'm not always right about these things. But I grabbed that texture and just threw a simple grunge brush over it to sort of give an idea of what I'm saying:

OK, I'll bite--I think the Dave's right here. The rug's too clean. Remember what I said a while back, about how the Spirit Temple is inundated with sand? I TOTALLY agree that there should be sand all up in the weaves of the rug.

Anyone think they could upload the 3 original eyes for adult link I am missing? Look down, left and right...

I don't know how to dump those.

One of you guys want to give it a shot? IDK how best to do what you guys want. If no 1 wants to improve it I consider it finished.

Hell I liked the rug better with no sand, but anyway I think there are too many cooks in the kitchen on this one :)

I may be finished with the prisoner cells now. We'll see when I come to the next couple ones.

I made 2 versions of the gates. Version1 is very true to the original. Version2 of course has spikes (damn I love spikes!). But in truth, I think version1 looks better. But I'll include screenies of them both anyway just in case.

Normal version closeup: http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae258/zeckron00001/FireTemple34.jpg
Spiked version closeup: http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae258/zeckron00001/FireTemple33.jpg

Normal version distance: http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae258/zeckron00001/FireTemple36.jpg
Spiked version distance: http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae258/zeckron00001/FireTemple35.jpg

Due to the way the texture is formated, and how it's tiled, I had to decrease the overall size of the bars for the spiked version. Otherwise it came out full of errors. If I didn't have to do that, then I think it would look good.

i first looked at the closeup picture and liked the non-spiky version better but from afar i definitely like the spiky version better. Hooray for spikes !

I like the non-spiky version better - I think it match the overall look of the Fire Temple better, and is in the same (awesome) style of the Goron Mines of Twilight Princess.
