  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

@Donbero, thanks for that! Of course the textures may not stay, it all depends on if Chieftain459 turns back up.
@Turpinator, I do not have that problem with the missing sections, however it does not have the bit of the GUI in the middle of the frame.
Then my issue with that may just be optimization. Anyways, the location is labelled wrong, droid.

Oh and can someone bottle the annoying fairy already?

Anyways, could I have the original, unoptomized versions of the map frames? Like another user said before, the texture in the middle was taken out of the version someone did for you. I plan to fix that. Oh, and don't worry about room with me, my computer can handle anything you throw at me.

I already expressed my feelings that everything under
V4 pack\Hud\Text\English\Letters and misc
is perfect and doesn't need to be done again. These text elements that are being redone aren't those right?

I don't think they are being redone, but I could always be wrong.
For all I know Emarian may not be working on them anymore.

I skimmed through the thread and was shocked how some people articulate themselves especially towards d-d (there's one guy I noticed particularly).
Guess that's the same people who pushed so much for a V5 release.
Now that it's out they complain about this and that in a way like they are calling an really expensive hotline of a really buggy game.

Guys! Seriously?

1. We are not a professional company! If you insult us without even contributing anything.(I haven't seen any of the artist going around, insulting) Do you think this is going to make the final pack appear any faster?
I'll tell you: This is the type of attitude that makes people abandon projects.

2. This is an early release. Like a beta. Don't expect everything to work right away. If I was d-d. I would think about releasing any intermediate versions in the future, because it seems so much work and causes so little respect.

So please, show soem respect and if you have a problem post it in reasonable manner!

@Mode7 thanks for your support, you have always being a nice guy!
Anyway I'm going to hold off on the V5 pack for a little while now, I'm going to dump any text that hasn't being done and attempt to get it all fixed up.

Hello all,

I recently found and I wanted to congratulate all with this great work!!!

I have some basic abilities with 3d models and basic texturing and I would like to collaborate with this project but I don't now which textures are not being worked on :p

I have some bottles I did some time ago, so although I´m not sure If they have been finished already, I just put some of them as sample (I did all). I hope that I can help in some way :)

Nice bottles, looks terrific, maybe you can give it some sort of caustics effect. What software are you using for those, maybe you can help me out with the backgrounds.

@mode7 Again, I apologize if I was one of those people who had an attitude towards d-d. I was not trying to be mean to him, I was just trying to show some problems I had with the pack that most, but not all, of the other people who downloaded and used the pack had. I even gave some screenshots and attempted to fix it myself (not a good idea, as I know nothing about re-texturing). Once again, I apologize, and I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to this pack.

@Donbero Pretty slick Fire Temple, there. I could've sworn someone else was working on that same texture, though. Could it have been you? I dunno.

@hyperion Awesome bottles, very high quality. I wouldn't be surprised if d-d put those in the pack, or at least as an alternate download.

@mode7 I apologize as well. I would never be disrespectful to d-d at all. I just wanted to point out some of the problems I had with V5 much like ChrisHighwind to see if anyone else was getting the same problems. Please forgive all of us, we would never do such a thing to d-d, or anyone who put their best effort into making this happen.

I´m using 3dsMax. I'm not sure how to add caustic effects to the bottles in 3dsmax, so I´look into it.
Also I´ll be glad to help with the backgrounds, although I haven't got much experience modelling rooms, but I´ll definitely try :)

I think the bottles themselves are just a little bit too dark gray, they need to be a little bit lighter. Still, the bottles themselves are an improvement over turpinator's version IMO.
IDK about the contents

I agree. I have made the bottle texture clearer with a hint of blue like the original. It still needs work, so I welcome feedback.

Now I'm working on the contents. I would welcome any picture of the bottled bug, for the moment I'm using a low-res one that doesn't look very good.

I have already started every content, if I'm missing any please tell me:

I gotta point it out: The Potions look kind of spongy. I'm incredibly nitpicky, so its not a big deal, and it'll probably look fine in-game.

The milk looks fine, but for the rest of the potions, that texture does not work. I think it should have texture to it that doesn't stand out so much. It kind of looks like a dirt texture colored various colors. Love the blue flame. I don't like the poes at all :( Not sure what to say about the fairy's wings
Also I think the cork needs to be darker and less yellow, more brown.
Love the new glass for the bottle

@hyperion86 great job on the bottles but the texture for the red blue and green potions needs changing, they kind of look like a sponge.
Also the poes need redoing as they don't quite seem right. And as chaoszeroz said the cork probably needs to be darkened a little bit. I'm tempted to add these into the pack but I need someone screenshots of what they actually look like in game.
