  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I have updated the cork texture making it darker. I have also removed the bump texture of the potions as its true it looks a bit off.
I have redone the potions so far, working on the rest now.

About the poes I welcome suggestions, I'm not sure how to do them. Should I remove the flame effect?

I'm thinking of adding shadows to the bottles, any suggestions?

Alright, I think I finished my first texture. It's the block texture surrounding the door, used throughout the Fire Temple. There are actually two textures for it: they look exactly the same, but have different names for different areas. Hopefully it's good enough.

@Donbero good job, oh yeah make sure your basing your additions to the missing fire temple textures off of Zeckrons fire temple pack not Mode7's, I have only used a couple of things of his for the fire temple atm.:p
@hyperion86 there better then the previous ones but now they look a bit more. Also with the poes you should try and aim at making them look more like the original bottles with the poes in them.

I've been working on adding shadows to the bottles and anti-aliasing.
I'm still working on the poes. The new ones look better ingame, as the background they have is darker :)

Definitely kicked my ass to high heaven for the bottles Hyperion. Nice job! Oh, and d-d, I have the texture for the clock on the timers if you plan on redoing that too. I call dibs on redoing Epona's carrots though, as both of those I was planning on doing myself but was beaten to one of them. ;P

lol, I just got this crazy idea to take what has already been submitted for v5 between the time the pack went down for bug fixing, and when it will be re-uploaded again, and stick it in a v4 pack and call it v4.5 I'll probably do that with my v4 pack, but it's just an idea as a way of tiding us over until v5, and no-one else has to do it. What got me was those amazing bottles.

Just think of it as a sort of preview of what we'll see working in-game come v5.

XD that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I actually do that all the time, i stick some things in my other LEGEND OF ZELDA folder from V4 and V5, but now the folder is like unorganized XD
I also found that bug turp or was it chaoszero where in the hyrule castle field, you see huge white strips. My V5 pack wasn't being used, this was my other LEGEND OF ZELDA folder that was being used. I'm so confused since my folder is all unorganized XD

It's not a bug, I'm pretty sure it's on the texture itself. Let me just check the tiles to be sure though.

EDIT: Ok... maybe not. Guess it's just a glitch based on the settings I use or something. Either way, it's not supposed to be there or wanted to be there, but makes for a very funny football joke. >3>

I'm going to begin working on the backgrounds.

I'm thinking of starting with the Bazaar shop in the Hyrule castle market, as it looks a bit easier than other larger ones.

Is anyone working on that?

There are many to do, so I don't care which one to start with ;)

@MasterGunz2345 you may be waiting a while for the V5 pack it all really depends on if anyone finds any more bugs with the V4 pack that needs fixing..
@ChrisHighwind, your not allowed to upload any other version of the pack then the one provided.
@Hyperion86 I'll have a look at them as soon as possible, also from what I know Datadyne is the only one working on the backgrounds at the moment, and he is working on one of the houses at the moment.
@Turpinator, clock? I can't quite remember seeing a clock.

The camera angle is a bit weird and its giving me some trouble getting it.

Er... nevermind, made a mistake as to who was doing a texture and of what. @_@;; Just nod slowly and pretend like you understand.

EDIT: Actually, now that I have your attention, I need a good copy of the textures for the map screen, not the map itself, but just the frame. Mine doesn't work and I want it fully working so that I may start editing it to look like the original game's one.
