What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

You using window7 or vista? You have a graphics card?
Go to control panel, device manager, display drivers, nvidia (or whatever), update drivers.

You might want to try some punctuation, it was hard to read your post.

There is a gameshark code to fix the menu lag which probably came with your emu, and generally it works fine even without the code after playing a bit. Make sure you have "N64 Framebuffer Emulation" set to "Basic Write & Back". You also need to set "Rendering to texture emulation" to either "Basic Write & Back" or "Write Back & Reload". Try both settings and then see which is right for you.

Man these skins are awesome, I had to download some much stuff.
Also, I havent seen every page, and I saw some Hi-Res Water Temple textures, if so, is it complete? If yes, can someone direct me to the page for the download link please?

Also, as for the Fire Temple, is that still is progress, or is it finished?

And also, XD, Im new to this stuff, anyways I saw a link of this

Looks like the all of this stuff came with the original pack and I dont see it in my pack. If any1 has exactly what the folder has, would they send it to me?

They are not currently released and are still work in progress.

Those textures are actually from another pack which i have added in, they were going to be in the upcoming patch.

@Everyone I'll probably do a full release very soon, due to me losing the folder which i was keeping just the new textures for easy uploading.
So if you have anything you want in the upcoming release, please upload the textures before Saturday morning(9:00 AM) UTC+10:00

Finally I had Time to upload it and make some screenshots.

Download here:http://www.mediafire.com/file/xatvt2amdam/Death Mountain Crater Beta.rar

Screens:

I notice that the download link to this is broken and the beta 2 is broken too. Will this be apart of the Fire Temple Pack?

Probably not, since most of the textures had a very low res and didn't match the actual style of the original textures.

Please, just download the packs available in the first post... for now, everything you've seen except Water Temple, Fire Temple and Death Mountain Crater are in those packs. When version 4 comes along, there will be even more stuff available.

The individual peoples' works are collected by death--droid and released as part of the packs in the first post (i.e. the Community Retexture Project BETA releases). The internal links in later posts really only meant as a way to pass those files along to death--droid so he can compile the packs.

In other words, everything you've seen so far in these posts (screenshots, links, etc.) are available in the packs in the first post, with the exception of Water Temple, Fire Temple, and Death Mountain Crater, which are works in progress. And the stuff that hasn't been started yet (see the list of completed areas, also in the first post).

As far as technical issues with emulators and whatnot, please direct those questions to more appropriate threads (this thread is about the retexture project, not a troubleshooting/tech support forum).

Just download v3 and the v3 patch.

@Cheiftan:
Haha I know it's from a while ago, but want me to metallify the jewel?
If so, please flatten the layers first. Not the image, though. It's just GIMP doesn't load the blending options.

You download V3(base) then download the patches and follow the instructions.
Then just extract them into where V3 (Base) is.

Thanks ^_^
That last part was very helpful so I can check which textures are N for No, and Y for Yes as in complete or not.
Says Death Mountain Crater has a N, so means it hasn't been finished yet I suppose.

BTW: I downloaded the Zora's Domain Texture and for some reason when I go to Zora's Domain, it still shows the n64 graphics, the walls, carpet and stuff didn't change. I think the only thing that changed was the water.
Also in Zora's River, the underneath grass textures are still n64 graphics
I'll show a pic of Zora's River and Zora's Domain

First Zora's River how it looks like
examplehk.jpg

See the red circle I made, that part is what im talking about, its still n64 graphics.

This how Zora's Domain looks like
example2q.jpg

See, everything is still n64 graphics
Can any1 help or any1 else getting this problem?

Sorry that there was no progress on this for a very long time, I started to learn C programming so I have very much work to do. But I will be able to do more work in nearly 2 weeks when the tests are over.=]

PS: Sorry for my bad english.
