  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

@steftheserb most of the hud things I'm now going to take from Federelli's pack.
But then if there better then the ones from federelli's pack I'll gladly replace them.

i meant the bow that link holds and uses. also do you (death-droid) know when the 3rd patch will be uploaded. also does anyone know which version of the rom needs to be used with the save files that were uploaded

@Zeckron--OK, I'll try to tweak the first mask to add some detail. Actually, I have a few thoughts in mind that may help it make the grade. Update later...

i've started work on the arrows and the bow. so far i've done the shaft and the feather and the thing im gonna have difficulty doing are the effects so ill leave those for now unless someone is willing to help. atm i havent got the bow but im using the dump that was uploaded earlier and i cant get the uploaded saves to work so i cant test them out in game :(
geez give me some credit =P

EDIT: I just updated my saves to include PJ saves of the final battle, and saves of ice arrows

Alrighty then, I think I've got a better Jabu together. I kept my first version, but added some significant tactile texturing to most of the files. I also changed the sapphires and put the nostrils back (as per death--droid's suggestions several pages back). I managed to get the skin to almost match up right around the mask--as good as I think I can get it. Also, I went out on a limb and made my own version of the Zora Sapphire (see the top of the mask). Screens:

Sorry it's not higher res(it's 16x), but the base pic wouldn't work with 32x. I still think it's a freaking awesome texture!!

Very nice all around! Everything is perfect! but are you going to do the eye?

@chaos--much better! Looks much more like the original... I think. It looks like the sword when its in the Temple of Time at least, and I think that's just fine.

Actually, I did do the eye, but it's hard to tell--I had to change the circle around the actual eye to match the rest of the skin, and I did a little work on the eye itself a while back (not sure what I did, I just remember doing it). I really didn't have too much of an issue with the eye--it's low-res, but I still thought it looked fine.

Edit--oh yeah--I duplicated the eye on a second layer and set it to multiply--it made the blue deeper, while keeping the highlights the same.

I just found something. In the v3 pack, there is a texture for the inside part of jaba-jaba's teeth. Take a look at it

Not trying to be a board rule Nazi or anything, but the rule doesn't make any exceptions for retexturers. It might be prudent to remove the link in your post. (As a side note, native saves work fine for any version of the ROM, so if you can achieve what you need to with those, there won't be an issue of different people having different ROM versions.)

Lol, I knew about that one--I made it, along with all the rest of the textures in that folder. I used the same source image to make the teeth for the outside. Sadly, the teeth are a LOT bigger when you're inside his belly (along with everything else).

I removed the link, but I want you to tell me how I am suppose to tell them exactly what version of the ROM I have is PLEASE

The saves I provide are primarily in .sra format, and some in .PJ format

I used a texture in the pack as a base for the steps, and one of my own for the sides, which in the original appear to be made out of the same material as the side wall of the steps.

Very nice looking. Actually, I figure Zeckron will say to make it rougher (someone's getting easy to predict :p), so I'm preemptively gonna say I like it smoother the way you have it--somehow it seems right to me.

Looking at my work again, I noticed an inperfection in my old texture/ I just went back and fixed something in this old texture of mine. The wall texture with the smooth rock top. I removed the side parts of the top slate of rock to made it tile correctly.

As far as another pack, I'll release another before I go to sleep Sunday night, as I'm likely to make at the VERY LEAST 1 more texture by then

Does anyone know if these boulders are used anywhere else than Spirit Temple? They roll back and forth as an obstacle.
