What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I'll redraw the other two Poe's, but the problem is that I don't have a P64 save state that far into the game so that I can dump the paintings. Also, 1964 doesn't seem to want to recognize any video plug-ins for me, like Aristotle's pack. I just can't get the hi-def textures to load for some reason. I know how to load the older Rice plug-ins, but these newer ones just don't seem to want to work for me.

@Blooped out - I can't help you with anything on 1964 (despite the fact this thread is in the 1964 forum) cuz I only use project 64. If you need help setting up Aristotle's Mudlord Rice video plugin on PJ64, PM me and I'll give you the details.

Some folks seem to have good success from Glide64 plugin (second hand knowledge to me), but I have no experience with it.

@chaos--got a chain for you to look at (if you haven't already gone with your version). Just fyi, the way I touched up where the other links connected was by copying another part of the link, then warping it to curve around over top of the flawed areas. Warp can be found under Edit>Transform>Warp. Very useful for this sort of touchup.

Thanks man!

I finished my chain texture!

I have saves for every dungeon thoughout the entire game
I also uploaded 1964video.dll a pretty good plugin, try it out! I also reccomend using 1964 emulator, try it with the 1964video.dll and see if it doesn't work out for you =P

@blooped out - Wow man..... I mean seriously, come on... That's amazing!

Plus I'm just totally blown away by how fast you're able to finish them.

Great works of art sir, truly amazing!

@blooped out: Hey man, that looks great. But, there is just one thing... and I don't mean to be a pain in the azz or anything, but it seems to me like the perspective on the right arm is a little off. However, when scaled down it probably won't even matter. Good job!

Gaah I'm having problems uploading the pack :(
I might resort to using KGB Archiver.

EDIT:
From now on I'm going to be uploading only the new textures from V3.

Well they are fairly simple and take no longer than 30-40 minutes if even that. I'll have the other one done either later or tomorrow, and I might consider doing one or two more so long as they aren't too much work.

I also thought about that if these are paintings hanging in a dank forest temple for some time, then they'd bound to be collecting some dirt and damage, so I added some on top. Maybe one of you lot can add a vine or something creeping up the corner later.

Love the idea Blooped Out but it still would be awesome if you could post the picture without the effect and one with the effect if you do it with the last poe sister:p

EDIT:

V3, Patch 1 has being released, check the first page for links.

@Chaoszerox - I see nothing wrong with the new sun rays. They don't dazzle me though. But then again, I think that's one of those textures where there's not a whole lot that you can do. If you can, try to experiment one more time before calling it final. Something that looks like realistic rays of sun, that fade into transparency at the ends. Pull up the alpha channel for it and at the ends, fade it from grey to black instead of just going from white to black. Just my opinion, it may not look good but I think it's a quick and easy little experiment.

@Blooped Out - In theory your idea about roughing up the paintings sounds good. However, in game they're almost kind of magical. They're paintings, but they're not used as such. So I actually don't like the idea of roughing them up or making them look overgrown with lichen, moss, etc. They should really stand out.

Plus, I don't want to muck up your awesome art work!

I vote to leave them pristine and clean.

EDIT: @Blooped-out. PM sent.
