I think he's just being more upfront and frank. Best to do it before someone works on textures, sends it to him and THEN he rejects it.Mollymutt said:I know, it's just his attitude. You know?
Plus, for all we know, Picasso could have been mean too

legend of zelda said:no, you couldnt use a simple renaming tool to convert rice's textures to jabo's. it would have to be done by hand or a special program would have to be made. this is because the naming is done completely different. rice's textures have names like THE LEGEND OF ZELDA#7EB432A8#0#2_rgb and such and jabo's textures have names like 1A29D263791EC2FBAA188E0936925BD6. they are completely different. i think i have an idea of how a conversion program might work, but since i can't program i cant try and make it. basically this is how it would work. ok, i'm not too sure about this but the dumped textures from rice's plugin and jabo's should be the exactly the same right? i mean the images themselves, not the names. if that's right then you could have a set of dumped textures from rice's and jabo's plugins and a texture pack for rice's plugin and then the program could try to find exact image matches for textures dumped from the different plugins. like, the program would take one texture from rice's dumped textures and try to find an exact match from the textures dumped from jabo's plugin. then, it records all the exact matches. and finally, it goes into the texture pack and grabs one of the texture names and goes back to that list of exact matches and sees if there is an exact match for that texture name and if so, it changes that texture to the jabo's texture name. and then it keeps doing that for the rest of the textures in the pack. well, i hope that made sense and that maybe if this could work that somebody that can program could make it or find a way to make a proper conversion program. wow, that was a long post.
Nice news then, I wish you luck thenKMan said:Yes. Pack 03 should be up by now. You can find the link on the first page. It includes everything that has been made that is at least worth releasing.
Since Rice's plugin is not 100% at emulating Zelda as well as Perfect Dark, I am going to stop work on them for 1964 with Rice's video plugin. I'm releasing what I have done, though for it. A new PJ64 is being developed with hires texture loading in it, and I intend to support it with my textures from now on as it offers better compatability with Zelda and Perfect Dark. When it finallly gets released, I'll have a pack or two ready to release.
He officially stopped working on it and released the source code to the public a while back.Nice news then, I wish you luck then (and looking forward to see your new works). But won't Rice make a new updated plugin sorting those out?
You will have to donate to find out...Also that new Project 64 plugin will "only" support Hi-res textures? is there anything else?
No, this isn't the right place for this question. Check a walkthrough.joseardzm said:i dont know if this question should be here but here it goes
