Does this version have Netplay in it ?? Any Sync issues with previosu version netplay solved ?? Whats the latest netplay version ??

Just Another Wacko ;)
No, it's not. But synchronizing PCs that use slow internet connection is impossible in the case of N64 (unless you set the keys to respond about 30 seconds after you press them of course). Not many things can be done about this "problem".

i think, like most things, it's hard to do *well*. we don't want any half-arsed implementation. maybe zil will get a chance to work on it one day, but i wouldn't get your hopes up.

UCode detect problems?

I'm use Jabo's Direct3D7 1.40
1st SS:autodetect F3DEX 1.XX then severe errors.
the SS is same as Jabo's D3D8 1.6 enable "Use Direct3D transformation pipeline"
2nd SS:manually set RSPSW 2.0X to looks good.

Yeh it would be great if it works without loosing sync in LAN atleast ??

At your service, dood!
Suprised nobody seems to have mentioned Mario Golf, could've sworn it was unplayable before, well whatever the case, it is almost perfect now.

Hello!

I've tried the new PJ64 and so far it's fantastic. The Asmik/Ace logo in the intro screen from Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 is now in color! No more nostalgic black & white for me...

However, I do have a concern, one that maybe you fine gamers can help me with. I've read posts that suggest that the bubble text in WWF No Mercy should now be viewable. I've tried this out and although the game itself has improved dramatically in all areas, the text is still missing. Any thoughts on this? My specs are listed below (but I'm not sure that it's complete / makes sense).

I've tried this on a friend's newer computer (I don't know his specs yet) and it does the exact same thing. I've played around with the settings, without any change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's your graphics card to blame I'm afraid - I do get text in the story mode. Maybe force legacy pixel pipeline in the advanced options of Jabos plugin *may* help.

For best results with the D3D8 plugin it is nigh on essential to have a card with pixel shader support.

Argh. That's what I get for holding on to this machine for so long. It's outlasted my friend's computers though. Some day soon I'll get a better card. It will be interesting to see what my friend's specs are, as I was under the impression that he had a better graphics card than I.

I thought some driver updates could help, since I think I could stand to use them. But if the graphics card doesn't even have that "pixel shader support", then maybe your other suggestion will help. (Prays hard)

I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for all your help. I'll also be on the lookout for nefarious bugs and other glitches.

By the way, I really like that avatar of yours. It looks like you're trying to control the world from behind the scenes, or at least from behind a desk, whilst co-workers fear for their lives. You probably get comments like that a lot. Or maybe not. Er, nevermind.

Any way, more power to you.

Thanks for the comment on my Avatar ;) That's David Brent AKA Ricky Gervais (from The Office).

Driver updates, or conversely downgrades (older drivers should be better with your card) may help, but I feel that is probably unlikely. Maybe someone else will have a better suggestion for you :)

I just recently found this great emulator and even more excited to see that the game I most wanted to run on it, Sin and Punishment, works ...except for one thing. In the game, some things that explode do so in a slow echo/strobe like surge Treasure uses to add effect, its also used in some scenes by the characters to show a boss power up before they attack. This is not emulated, instead that scene is cut off to a black screen but the game still plays, in fact after that effect everything is still normal. I hope this helps in future release.

Thanks for the great emulator.

I'm running a 2.8 gig mhz amd, using on board sound, 512 mb ram, and a geforce ti 4200.

For the record, Sin and Punishment uses funky effects thoughout the game like insane motion blur use all over the place, at similar levels to Majora's Mask. Although I haven't really tested it with PJ64 1.6+Jabo's all that extensively, some of these effects are not emulated and appear as a black screen.

As a side note, the 'Get Bonus' thing is so funny.

I was playing OoT again today, and noticed that the Pause Menu (Subselection Screen?) for OoT is extremely slow (and I don't mean when initializing it, it's slow any time you're using it) in 1.6. This doesn't happen in 1.5, but the delay when initializing the menu is there.

In other news: Hah, nice to see you here, Cool. But aren't those values in the Beta Quest code wrong? They should be:

0000 World 00
0001 World 01
0002 World 02
0003 World 03
0004 World 04
0005 World 05 (Tricky!)
0006 World 06
0007 World 07
0008 World 08
0009 World 09 (Unstable!)
000A World 0A
000B World 0B
000C World 0C
000D World 0D
000E World 0E
000F World 0F

Where 0005 and 0009 are strange, obviously because you have to do extra things to get it to work.

yeah, the version 1.6 is really good but there some games i still play in 1.5 like iss98. i don't why but iss98 crashes in 1.6 saying that "failed to load a word" (???). but 1.6 runs blast corps better and seems more stable than other versions and emulators.

RattleMan: Ya, I suppose they are. I didn't add the codes; the code & comments are mine though. ;) Not hard to fix for yourself, just edit em. Not too big a deal.

If you know what the game is supposed to look like would you mind playing a bit with "Copy Framebuffer to RDRAM" on? We knew about the cutscenes being a framebuffer effect and I have a theory the motion blur *is* done when that option is ticked.

Since I dont know what the game is supposed to look like nor do I know japanese (Is there an english version of this game?) I cant be 100% certain so a report on this would be great :)
