Actually it is the GoodN64 verified Castlevania (U) V1.2 [!].z64 version...

I'm not overusing savestates....just running the game as normal from in game save points....

Haven't used any cheats. Heh. I actually didn't even know there were cheats until you mentioned it.

Still random crashing for me though =(

Oh well.

Great release, nice surprise :) Quick q - are the new plugins (dsound, direct x RSP) in this release compatible with pj64 1.5 and 1964?

You're right if you enable the controller plugin you will get an error, i'm positive in 1.5 you got that error if you didn't have controller pak or rumble pak on though.

More bug reports, although minor, in Tetrisphere, there are black lines through the logo, what I find funny is I play at college on a lower spec machine lower graphics card and it plays exactly the same without this small error.

Yes they are backwards compatible. PJ64 1.5 should have no problems using the plugins from PJ64 1.6 and the same *should* be true for 1964.

*should* means I havent personally tested this but there shouldnt be a reason for them to not work.

A quick note as well... The rumble option in Jabo's plugin will not work in older versions of PJ64 or other emulators. The released version of PJ64 1.6 also has a problem where the rumble is constantly on, so you may wish to use another plugin if you're going to be using rumble.

so basically "the rumble option in Jabo's will not work in any version of pj64" :D this 1.6 bug was apparently an obscure last minute compiler problem, it wouldn't have intentionaly been released like that..

ScottJC, i just tried Chameleon Twist on 1.5 and got the same result as 1.6.

Yes the plugins are definately compat across 1.6-1.5 i've been using like that.

Ok I see but It would be fantastic that We could play with pj64 1.6 on xbox It would Be Awesome ... I have the first version of pj64 on Xbox it work but I can't play 250 rom on 278 rom With the pj64 1,6 i can play with all my file really fine without trouble of glitches

The PJ64 Team are not releasing the 1.6 source code for ports to other systems/OS's. End of.

I am not having any problems with Castlevania (U) (1.2)...

Is it because my computer is a bit outdated or is anyone else having these problems:

- Lagging in SSB (only in hyrule castle stage and when the [your player] VS. yoshi team -screen pops up and there are many yoshies on the screen)

- Blocks around whales in Pilotwings (although I think this isn't because of my computer) and occasionally when you fall on water a RGB box appearing?

- When screen shrinks in Majora's Mask, some gibberish appears to the bottom of the screen (I THINK I read something about this and that it's not my comps fault, correct me if I'm wrong)

Thanks in advance to you guys, great job with the new version.

Yes the plugins are definately compat across 1.6-1.5 i've been using like that.
From a fellow absentee, it's nice to see you're back and well Smiff, i hope the years away were kinder to you than they were to me ;)

Anyway, my only problem is that the Jumble Hopper in Pilotwings 64 isn't working anymore!

1st Crash: The default ones
2nd Crash: Default except for azimers new audio plugin.

Both at totally different times and places. - both happened while playing the game.

Actually From Project64 Help/User Manual/Cheat Help. or www.pj64cheats.net is the answer. so you can learn how to dd cheats through the GUI and not the file

One more thing: In CBFD's intro when Conker has called Berri and says that You guys enjoy yourselves and all that and I'll probably see you next week. Got to go home and then the camera turns to toilets, all I see is some random purple glitch thing. Same thing when Conker wakes up next to Birdy's field after the intro. What's up with that? Sorry if I didn't explain it well.
