What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

I still have to adjust them since they occupy the same place as the original ones. So it's just some resizing to do

Superb Job Zeytok. Just so you know, your dumps where correct, it was a 1 pixel error thing that prevented it from working.

Anyway, this will help me keep way more organized.
it's not the first time :p ("Navi", ...)

And Zeytok, now the graphics are done.
Now could you link me to a pack where you put the dumps for the other text, such as "Name?" "erase which file" and so.
done!
BTW, i include a screen that is only in european version ("Language" folder) because it's a menu too ;)

Md, if you happen to read this, try doing the following so we stay truer to the original:

1-Make the turn in the right edges of the buttons a bit bigger.
2-Make the text in each button fit exactly where the older text was, it seems a little cramped now.
3-Round up the connector

That's about it :).

What's the diff, beetween copy and erase?
no, it's just to see the difference with glow "corner" and buttons corner... apparently it isn't exacltly aligned...

Could you redump all the text from the menu (except the options menu) in the 3 languages, I think I have lost some tiles...

I may have to make a fresh start with this, as the low res version looks slightly different. As the text is now highres, it looks thinner and closer together, I did this because you dont need such loose spacing in high res...

Ok just so Zeytok and MD can get things straight, here's what's done and what isn't:

OOT US Main Menu Text - 100%
OOT US Main Menu Graphics - 100%
OOT US Options Menu Text - 100%
OOT EU Main Menu English Text - 100%
OOT EU Main Menu English Graphics - 100%
OOT EU Options Menu English Text - 100%
OOT EU Main Menu French Text - 0%
OOT EU Main Menu French Graphics - 100%
OOT EU Options Menu French Text - 100%
OOT EU Main Menu German Text - 0%
OOT EU Main Menu German Graphics - 100%
OOT EU Options Menu German Text - 100%
MQ EU Main Menu English Text - 100%
MQ EU Main Menu English Graphics - 100%
MQ EU Options Menu English Text - 0%
MQ EU Main Menu French Text - 0%
MQ EU Main Menu French Graphics - 100%
MQ EU Options Menu French Text - 0%
MQ EU Main Menu German Text - 0%
MQ EU Main Menu German Graphics - 100%
MQ EU Options Menu German Text - 0%

So what's left is both 0% things, in both ways, dumps for Mdtauk, names for me. :)

Now I have seen the text in use, I am doing the english text and buttons again, to make it look neater and not so cramped, I wont follow the text perfectly, because I am improving on some aspects. I am using a bold font for the headings, not mixing between bold and demi, like the originals, and I am maintaining the same heights for the languages and versions, so it looks neater than the original...

What's about the "OOT EU Language Menu" (when start games with no games saved) ?
and master quest is 0% ?

Hey fed, here's a rar file of textures I was doing for Kakariko Village. I have lost all the of the Photoshop files for these, but if you can tell me what needs to be done to make them better and acceptable for your pack, I will fix them or recreate them.

This isn't close to everything, but it's a start.

hum, how can you have "MQ EU Main Menu English Text - 0%" and "OOT EU Main Menu English Text - 100%"
OOT US, OOT EU and MQ use the same graphics and text (same filename) only the Options screen is different...

and i just want to know, what's about the "OOT EU Language Menu" (dumps and a snap include in the previous pack) ?
Do you think that must be done before next release ?

Fixed again, the language Menu is something i have to think because if i make it 4x bigger, then we have 2560x1920 and that's insane. So i might go for 1024x768 or 1280x1024.

The Dave, the first thing i can think of is to make all files 32bit .PNG, and loose the 8bit .BMPs
