  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Heya, just wanted to say you guys do some larger than life work here :)
Impatiently waiting for the next pack...btw: are the improved letters already in the 0.19 version? Cause I only got the "O" and the "Q" improved o_O

Ok Md, as soon as you finish whichever text you've got to finish, and do the rest of the pause Menu, I'll release :).

Could you send me the tiles numbered for the Opening menus, along with screenshots of the EU and US Roms. So I can do the options text again, as well as the shiney material behind it...

I am just wondering, are you guys going to make one final package? Or should I explore all 133 pages and download the many numerous files on my way

The background is the same for all menu and roms version.
I include screenshot of "what is it ?"
I have "recomposed" texture with more than one part (like background) in .psd...

i see really good improvment to this thread but i have a question :
Letters , tiles , places remake ok, but i would like to know if in this futur new pack , we hope to see many news textures?
We only see works on text , but no really wip texture.

And we see many people retex . Federelli , have you make something than we can see or it's a pack surprise?

Now let me explain both here and in the Djipi thread, how I am going to finish all these text tiles.

I am getting bogged down and complicating things for myself. I am going to work on one at a time for now on, and Federelli's pack comes first.

Fed I have found the exact font used for the Menus in OoT. Here are all the fonts I have found, with what they are used for and what they are called...

LeiSho
Used for the Locations in Twilight Princess, not used in OoT or TWW

Kokinedo - Extra Bold
Used for the Boss Names in OoT, not used in TWW or TP

RocknRoll - Bold
Used for the Dialogue in TWW, not used in OoT or TP (this was the font I thought was used for the menu in OoT before Federelli)

Chiaro - Bold
Used for the Dialogue, Item Names, Locations in OoT, not used in TWW or TP

Rodin - Various Weights
Used for the dialogue in TP and used for the Menus in OoT, not used in TWW

These arent full fonts, just individual letters. I am having to piece words together letter by letter which is why it takes so long.

My Timetable
I am setting up new folders on the computer, moving completed work into the new folders, then working on Fed's tiles.

Once I am finished with Fed's work, I will go on to work on Djipi's text tiles and screens.

I will start a new thread with all of my finished work in it. I will do Ocarina of Time Style Text and Menus, The Wind Waker Style Text and Menus, and finally I will make Twilight Princess Style Text and Menus, for anyone to use if they want to work on a Twilight Princess Texture Pack, high res, realistic not keeping to the original style...

Constantly working on two sets at the same time is doing my head in, and I need a fresh start to focus my work, so I will post in a new thread, so I dont get confused...

about using a topographic map

i want to see if the map texture can be modified to look more real like in the zelda beta version (pre-released) also i´m working on dumps from a, b and c-buttons to change them on photoshop but i´m new modifyng textures so i need help.

p.s: sorry if i posted this already it´s just that i want to help in this great project

Does anyone have the OoT Players Guide. They may have 3D renders of the locations. If you scan these in, they may be helpful
