What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Just as I predicted, every time KMan makes a post, it blows everyone else away. That is GREAT work! I cannot wait for the next release.

How the heck do you guys get the texture dumps?! Is there a program I can download that will just... extract the textures?

KMan

The Wu Tang Master
I found the eyes too. The video plugin keeps resetting itself and decides not to dump textures. :S

He makes this look like he was one of the original devs/texturers for the original game and is now doing what he originally had in mind. Pure professional art. Superb.
And... thanks for sharing with us! :)

Fire textures look crazy

You mean crazy as in good or bad? Personally, I need to change it, cause in a still picture it looks awsome, but seeing it move, it just doesn't seem real cause it doesn't move, and Fed's fire texture looksed the same way except a little more...silky. I don't think there is any way to make it look real while moving cause it never moves.

EDIT #1: I just noticed something. Have you realized that it's only been one month since this whole thing started! It's amazing! The progress everyone has made, especially you guys Fed and KMan. Think about what it could be like in another month.

@Kman Whoa, that looks so realistic, I wonder how you did that.
@Amon-Knives I dont really like your fire...

I kept on retexturing, because it's so much fun.
I made the Fairy Fountains and now i'm working on the graveyard.

Is someone interested in downloading what i did? Should I open a new thread for my stuff?

The fountain looks a little more smoother, but other than that, I see no differance. No new thread. If you're going to do the graveyard, try going for very dark and creepy themes. As fr my stuff, try not focusing in on the fire, I'm working on that, instead try to focus on the walls and carpet (carpet still needs work as well).

Maybe it's better to show a picture with the original textures... I'll do it the next time.
I am not making it darker than it was before, i want to make it look more realistic but also to stay as near as possible to the original ones.
And the reason why i only mentioned the fire was that i didn't recognise the changes on the carpet and i thought that there was nothing to say about the walls, they look really good.

Actually Amon I think your textures are getting better with every post :)
The fire looks soo badass...It probably could use some tweaking, but dont go overboard with it.
