What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Wow, it's cool to see an update, thanks Djipi :)
By the way, did you fix the missing rock texture of Cocorico (near the death trail entrance) ? It seems no one ever managed to load this texture....

Hurrah. Updates look good.
where do you guys get the update? in the main page the links to the mirrors are quite old, and the emutalk ftp server is not working for me :X, I tried TS mirror, but... it had files dated 12 november, so I don't know where to take the new pack from...

thanks in advance. sorry for the bother.

Djipi, if you are doing an update pack, may I suggest that you put in the english menu textures? they were made and named, just not in the pack.

I second an updated pack, with the fixs to the originals, all the fixes to the textures, all the english menus, and maybe if possible a bit more organized like Federelli's pack.

I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. Everything loads and runs great, but when the owl is onscreen, the game grinds to a halt and runs at under 10fps. Then when he leaves, everything goes back to normal.

Small complaint, but some English menus haven't been re-textured, and the cavern walls in the Fire Temple haven't been re-textured at all (It doesn't appear on my copy).

Otherwise, great hi-rez pack.

And is there any way to re-texture the pre-rendered areas (like Hyrule Market) to a cel-shaded one?

there's a patch for that you know? :)

About pre-rendered backgrounds, as far I know... nope, because they are encripted, it would need a load of work, some of them were made though, hyrule market entrance, link's house and dampe's house, all in perfect wind waker style.
