What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Hehe, I was in the same place as you just yesterday! I know how you feel, but once you get the hang of it, it ain´t that hard anymore.

Just download the "1964" emulator from http://1964emu.emulation64.com/ and, of course you need ROM´s (the games), but since they´re illegal it´s aginst the rules to post direct links to them, so just do a google search or something.
When you got the emulator and the roms (in this case the LOZ:OOT rom), just download the Rice plugin 6.1 from the sticky thread and follow the instructions in there to upgrate the plugin in your emulator.

The rest is a pice of cake! Just download the texture packs in this topic, and exctract the files (with Winrar, if you don´t have it, do a google search and download it) to a folder called "Hires_texture" located at the "plugin" folder.
Then while playing the Rom, just click on the "plugins menu at the top, then -> Video settings --> Texture Filters, in there just check the "Load Hi-res textures if any" sqaure and you´re done!
Hope it helps, If it ain´t clear enough, please feel free to ask me again, or perhaps contact me by MSN, since I know how anoying it can become. ;)

Is it possible to change Link's clothes to match WW? Like just change the colors to that of Wind Waker, and switch out pictures of the different belts? I think the eyes from WW would work after seeing that concept art posted with an adult "celda" link. As long as you made them the correct size and color. I would do it but I don't think I have the program you guys are using. And if you need anymore pictures of items and equipment from WW here's a site http://www.zeldauniverse.net/content/view/133/151/ that should help you find anymore that you need...

No, you can only edit the textures, and the green clothes are part of the actual Link model. We don't have the ability to remodel and import the new models into the games yet.

Stop pressuring Djipi and the others who are working on this great project. I don't think you like people asking you about something over and over. So stop. :| And I'm not talking to only you. I'm talking about everyone who'll bother to ask. It's done when it's done.

i've been watching the progress of this mod since it appeared on kotaku about 2 weeks ago, i thought i should figure out how to actually use the plugin properly before i registered and posted how good this mod looks! can't wait for the final pack, well done to djipi and whoever else is working on this mod, its by far the best looking out of all of the current mods in progress.

well, iv looked through all the posts (only took me all day lol)

and its looking mighty fine

as for the clouds

THIS IS NOT A REPLACEMENT just a example of shaded clouds i did in ms paint

something that to be honest wouldn't look that out of place roaming round the sky

quality is pants as its a jpeg and done in MS-PAINT, but just so you get the idea of what i could imagine them looking like if someone wants to give it a go with the real sky and clouds that are smiler, there hand drawn as well (if only i had my Photo-shop cs installed)

hehe well they were low quality as i haven't installed photo shop as of yet, and if peeps be working on the cel shading thing then that's what i would of expected the sky to look like, yeah lots better with the blue bit in there, but i think with cel-shading u need a more "defined" line between colors instead of them over lapping, all in all i like it, just wondering if any of the project makers like them, if so, and they can provide me with the tiles then ill have a go at a sky for them

Well these clouds look good, but you should make the whoe sky and not only part of it.

i know, but i need the dump of the sky tiles to work from as i don't know the dimensions for it, also i want to check with the project owner so as not to cause offence, if anyone can provide a Zelda sky dump with names and numbers ill do a whole sky for it to see if the continuity is there with the rest of the project
