It does look more cartoony, but I kinda think it looks more like a huge chisel than a sword.

No the original does not have a ridge and that is why I made it like it is. The blade is facing up, so if it didn't look flat something would be wrong.

Why is it so short? lain:

Believe it or not I actually lengthened it. Look at the icon used in the game, that's even shorter, and that icon was the base for this.

Try find an original master sword and trace over it...

Here are some images of it from A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. You should be able to recolour it and trace over...

its seems too far away from the original, it will look odd when used in game, when the sword looks nothing like it.

I'd trace over the original, and apply the flat colours and wind waker touches...

Too far away from the original to tell what it is? Instead of looking at screen shots of Wind Waker, have you tried looking at screen shots of the 3d Model from Ocarina of Time? Here's a colloge I shouldn't have had to made, and a final revision of the base.

But whether or not I modified it again. are you actually trying to tell me the one on the far left looks nothing like the game model in the middle? I really can't believe that.

And the new one isn't 100% it either, but it's as close as I'm getting without retracing a bunch of stuff and playing with geometry.

I like it. The only thing I would change (don't hurt me!) is the color. Maybe the base can be a little darker/vibrant.

Well I just discoverd how to use this high res stuff, and let me tell
ya its a dam blast to use, I made a whole new set of textures for links
face, I wanted to make some texture fixing for the hair too but I was not
able to find the texture for that or for the green robes, I did finded the
boots and the belt wich I will be re doing today this is one fine proyect!
I ways liked the way the Wind Waker looked and I cant wait for this pack to
be done

P. S. I would apreciete a whole lot of someone could pass me the
textures files of the hair and robes, so that I can re texture all of link.

I'm sorry, but that sword just doesn't work for me. It's too flat and beveled, because this is cel zelda not cartoon network zelda...lol. I just don't like it, but that's my opinion.

Well just try running the game now, on your pc, using an emulator and rices plugin, and see what happens. Then, if it doesnt work too well, or at all, then get your comp (seeing as you seem to be getting a new one anyway, that is) but im sure there could be some hardware upgrades that would fix the problem for cheaper, but of course, I dont know why your getting a new PC. Could also be outside matters. So yeah, try it now, and if it works, great, if it doesnt...go for it.

If you're talking about the rom, you will get banned if you talk about DLing roms or if you even say where to get some. be careful.

DL rices plugin from the sticky post and put the pictures in the hires-texture folder in THE LEGEND OF ZELDA folder
