What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Thanks for the release, Djipi! =D
Now for a critique. I think that a few things could be reworked in the Deku Tree when you have some time. The grass color is still... iffy... and the cobwebs need to be redone. Also, I think the eye on the boss could be redone. I did notice a number of new textures in there that worked really well, though =) Good job, thanks for the release. Oh, and I think the shield texture that was done by the dave would be a good addition... I thought his texture was really amazing.

Oh, and googol: I think you're off to a good start and you're thinking the right way... just some more details would be good, to keep it from being too abstract/design-y.

Ok, here is a suggestion on something to cel-shade. As we all know, the picture of link in the sub-screen always comes up messed up on Rice's video plugin. How bout you make it into a cartoon link instead of actual graphics or something to your style

Djipi, the new pack has a lot of textures that don't work on Ocarina of Time 1.0 (U) (!) version. Also, the excellent Hylian Shield texture you created isn't anywhere in the pack, the curly fire effects were never released, and neither was the Fire Temple, which is STILL my favourite of your retexturing places. Also, the 'Ocarina' logo was included in here; like I said earlier, can you post the 'Shield' logo? Finally, the 'Ocarina' logo doesn't work properly, having severe alpha issues, but maybe that's just my computer. Apart from that, it's great!
I'll work on renaming your textures to work on OoT 1.0, as I assume most English-speaking persons on this board are using that version.

EDIT - The excellent text that you created is also absent.
I worked on the sand and walls, are these better? And I know the wall is a bit too realistic, but I'd still like feedback.

the sand has improved immeasurably from a simple change like that. As far as the walls... I'm not sure. They're no longer too flat, but they do have too much texture (being beveled and all...). Perhaps an illusion of beveling would be better? (like cell-shading a 3d model)

Yes is really better
Thanks for your congrats and critics.
I remake all you want , no problem.
And googol , i will post early the fire cel temple , no problem.

If someone can post shot for my work (1 or 2 only) it will be great .
I only hope you always like (or love may be ) my work

Googol, maybe you should lose the bevel on thos titled bricks or stones. Honestly though, you should give that texture to the guys in the high-resolution project, because it looks really really smooth (in a good way) for that.

Googol, your sand is much better, I couldn't spot any improvement on the rest though... go back and play WW and check out some of the textures in the Earth temple is my advice. But keep trying!

Excellent. And I_love_link, I'll do that. The Earth Temple doesn't exactly have the best textures in the game though.

hmm.... any chance of an english version of that pack being released? And the English names for bosses as well? I love the redone names, but they're kinda useless to me, since I don't have the European version

Emulation 4ever!
The pack dosn't work :(

I use the "(E) (1.1)"-version and the german language.

EDIT:
Oh, and Project64 1.6 with Rice Video 6.1.1 beta10

Djipi, I still have to say you're the best in retexturing games. All the other projects I have seen so far just get to change the textures into more realistic ones. Your textures though, have gotten as far as to CHANGE THE WHOLE LOOK OF THE GAME
That is something I would have never thought would be possible. Thanks for the releases!
Keep it up!

Hey Djipi, I really enjoyed your pack...especially what you did to the fonts. I did find some problems on the opening screen with the zelda logo. For some reason I have blocky print around the ocarina. If there is a fix to this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-minkster

PS: By any chance are you going to redo the English HUD font such as Attack, Grab, Speak, etc? It would look really awesome...thanks again for changing zelda into a whole new experience. I really love it :bouncy:
