Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.
If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I'm just worried now about orkin's plugin. There hasn't been any news at all in almost a month (and that's for the plugin in general, not even reguarding its cel shade feature). Looks like we might have cel shaded textures with no cel characters. Djipi even said himself a while back that he hasn't heard from Orkin in ages.

Even assuming that with all the deflation the dollar has seen over the last 1.5 years or so, that the aussie dollar = the american dollar, $54 is not too bad for high speed internet.
I've got Comcast Cable Internet, which costs me somewhere in the 45-55 USD range. considering it beats the pants of dsl, I'm not complaining too much

Late june-ish Orkin made a post about how he didn't really have access to his dev machine and was busy with his new "carrer" type job, and then his last post was early july. Seems like this one has gone the way of many many other promising projects here.
At least when Djipi releases his pack, we can squint to achieve cel shaded zelda characters :-D.

Just wanted to stop by and say what a good job you are doing. I downloaded some of the earlier packs and it looks amazing when you are in game.
I just wanted to say that I can host the pack for you when it is completed. I have a large amount of bandwidth available every month that would be sufficient for the pack if you needed a mirror for it. It is being relatively unused at this moment in time.
If you want to take me up on this offer then simply send me a PM and I will get in touch. I wanted soooo much to help out with this project and this really is the only way I can help.
