What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Thank you.

Do you have the font? xD

Sorry to be so pressing, but the font is limiting everything. It has to match.

EDIT:
I'm currently working on acquiring all of the location textures.

Apparently mdtauk is the one with the font, so I've PMed him, asking for it. Until I get the font that mollymutt used in the titles, I can't upload the pack.

EDIT2:
I've acquired all of the location textures, so I now have all of the English textures.

If I could get the font, then I could edit my PSDs and upload the pack in less than a day. Development is ceased on my side until then.

EDIT3:
.....

Turns out that Djipi had already made hi-res textures of the Locations, but three were named improperly, one of which was "Market," which is where my save was located.

As such, when I went to the map, I believed that none of the location textures were hi-rez because I didn't see them and "Market" was not showing up properly.

I've fixed this and now Djipi's normal textures work properly.

However, the Dungeon names and the actual text "Current Position" was not done, so now I'm working on obtaining those.

EDIT4:
Done with everything.

I have all of these textures:

Save Menu
Item Names
Names for Locations on Map
Dungeon Names
Dungeon Item Names
The "Current Position" Texture
Menu Actions (to Equip, to Play Melody, to Decide)
All Main Menu Textures
All of Djipi's English Textures

Basically, all that is English. Now I just need a font.

EDIT5:
Nevermind about all previous font requests.

If I could receive the letter tiles used in the creation of these textures:

THELEGENDOFZELDA4AE8BD3831_all.png

THELEGENDOFZELDA8B2CC07631_all.png

THELEGENDOFZELDA7D8D7D4131_all.png

Then I could finish my English pack and make a ttf file from them.

Yeah, thanks for that...in fact, the textures I just put up were from your pack.

The problem is that I need those tiles to do everything else.

By tiles do you mean each seperate letter? If so I think you or whoever might just have to cut each letter out... or am I making this more complicated than it is? ha

the easiest way to cut them all would be to remove the black surroundings and then sepperating the letters and then add a new black border.

That's great, but all of Djipi's textures have a drop shadow around them, and I don't know what opacity he used for them.

I just need SOMETHING to work with.

As long as the letters match the textures I provided, I can work with it, I can cut them out myself, etc.

If you can give me the letters, I'll do it. :)

I'll gladly take whatever you have.

EDIT:
@Alakazoo,
I thought about cutting each letter apart, stripping off the black, then stretching each image to several inches each, smoothing it with Photoshop, and then finally inverting the image to turn the white to black; however, not all capital and lowercase letters are in the textures.

you just have to erase all the black, and then select the white letters, then expand selection 2 or 3 pixels and then paint black (with lighten property, so white cannot paint over black...)
then you're left with a perfect border for those letters... But that's a pain, we should just wait for someone to provide a font.

Pain or not, I'd gladly do it...IF I had all of the letters. As it stands, I do not have a complete alphabet, and I do not believe that there is a font.

I'm fairly sure that mdtauk drew these himself, and that he has only letter tiles (I read over 100 pages of the Federelli content pack thread). I don't believe that a font was ever made, but if he can send me those tiles, I'd gladly produce one.

Alakazoo, well over a hundred separate textures. I basically need the entire alphabet.

Don't worry about it...mdtauk has the tiles, and I've PMed him, asking for it, so I'll get it the next time he checks his PMs, at which point I can use the tiles to finish the English.

Hopefully mdtauk has them because nobody else does, including Djipi.

Right now I'm open to any suggestions of similar fonts.

@Mollymutt,
If you can redraw the letters, then I can do it.

EDIT:
Does anyone have suggestions on a similar font?

I asked djipi the name of the font along time ago and he said, "the name is reggaewind i think." I looked it up but couldn't find anything... Not sure if that helps much but maybe he just spelt it wrong or something

Zelda Hi-Res Texturer
The fonts used in Zelda are from fontworks.com

Rock n Roll - Wind Waker Dialogue
Chiaro - Ocarina of Time Dialogue
Wind Waker Captions - Reggae
Ocarina of Time Menus and Twilight Princess Dialogue - Rodin
Ocarina of Time Boss Names - Kokienedo

There are PDFs on these pages, which contain a sample of the letters. Mostly Japanese but an English Alphabet also. I would then export the PDFs into something like EPS and then import into Photoshop or Illustrator, so I could re-arrange the letters to make the words.
