(Very well put post up there RatTrap. Kudos)
Of course, GBA2 still isn't officially announced so *potentially* it could still be that (anyone who saw the feature in Edge will be able to note that the timing would be about right) BUT... if I remember the translation correctly, it mentioned NGC specifically. It's a strange one to try figure out. It wouldn't be a DVD-style add on, hard drive, modem etc, because that isn't Nintendo's way of working. If its anything to do with games, I'd guess it would be technology rather than specific titles, but it'd need to be something pretty major to get people interested. I wondered briefly if it could *possibly* be something to do with remarks before the NGC was ever released which I seem to recall Mr Miyamoto came out with about "experimenting with motion-sensing" technology being implemented (early pads were rumoured to have been developed within Nintendo with attempts at this)... Yamauchi-san (Nintendo's now-retired President for those just joining us)recently made some offhand remarks in an interview about new technologies for new types of gaming he thought we'd be seeing soon, which kind of fits with that. But again, it'd have to be something major... damned if I know what it is if not that anyway!
Don't you just love it when Nintendo throw out a talking point like this for us?
EDIT: It may be scary how far we manage to stray off-topic sometimes, but its even more scary we *always* somehow end up back on topic anyway.
