Patching your non bootable or VGA games

Well Pierki I would recommend you read some mroe of the Sticky threads.....but in short I think Daemon Tool 3.29 is the RECOMMENDED version so far......I wouldn't know I used 3.46 and it worked really well

I just tried in my burner (not DVD) and it works correctly ! YEEEEEEEEEESSSSS
So YES ioControl Error depends on the quality of the CD or the CDdriver

I've virtua striker 2 iso and imageinfo do nothing...that program doesn't change the ip.bin...i've tried three or more times...when loading chanka is a music cd..
Any help..

More Soul Calibur pain

we all want to play soul calibur.

Well i'm one of the many having problems.

I've gone through all the threads trying to find a way to fix it but to no avail.
Here's what ive done.

I've tried it with my utopia version, (please insert game disc)
I went through all the steps in the main homebrew thread and got a working self boot disk ( I can get to the main selection screen no fuss, then if i choose any game modes it hangs)
I've done the whole ip.bin patching thing.
I've run it with daemon tools 3.29 and now i get an io error and cant even get to the main menu.

I've pretty much run out of ideas at this point so if anyone has any advice.

My specs are:
Windows XP
1024 mb RAM
2200 mhz Athlon
Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X
140gb Raid HD

Is there any hope or will i have to continue waiting of further updates?
