What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Works perfectly for me.
Try running it again.
Tried for at least the 5th time, same result

using 1964 emu version 0.9.9

EDIT: ran perfectly in openGL mode

all bugs I described in the post on the last page seem to be gone too! As well as it's running faster(with no-fps limit) but both of those things might be just cuz I'm using openGl mode..

Anyway I will be releasing the DirectX 9 version after I get LOZ OOT and Paper Mario working.

EDIT:
Fixing up that problem now.

I was checking out the v4 pack ingame and I noticed the animation for cutting the small bush (that gives items) does not match the one in the pack because it was never re-done.
The animation actually only uses 1 texture, and the game cuts it up as the animation plays.
I really quickly made a decent texture from the still texture version of the bush from the v4 pack.

Both textures really need to be re-done entirely, as the one in the pack doesn't really look like the original much, but at least this can be used as a placeholder...

As it should be working fine.

seems there was some temporary problem with my comp. that kept directx from being able to work at all. None of my DirextX games were working, but that openGL mode on the emulator worked. Restarting my comp. fixed it

Running in DirextX mode on the last version you uploaded, it ran the same as r35
None of the bugs I thought were fixed were actually fixed -_- I think I'm going to stick with the OpenGL render anyway...at least until the bugs I posted about are fixed. Are there any disadvantages/problems with the OpenGL render I should know about?

Good post droid.
*looks at topic*
Woah, you can make a "WIP" folder in the pack that keeps reloading the texture as you work in it!!!11one

EDIT: Debating what to do next..longshot, ocarina, (tried the hammer, failed :(), din's fire etc, homework...

If someone can make a nice hammer shape I can do my majix to it.

Definitely, definitely, going to redo the bottles at some point. My old ones look so hand-drawn...I've learned to use the ellipse tool (and pen tool, and channel-blur-levels) since then.

Oh hey guys, here's a tutorial I made on smoothing shapes:

The first *fixed* link you posted on the previous page worked just fine for me. Although, I ran into some strange issues in Zelda: OOT. A huge brown triangle showed up in the deku tree a few times as I was running through. As well in Kokiri Forest, I would get a lot of flashing white triangles that would show up as I ran along. Switching to Rice 6.1.4 fixed those issues surprisingly.

@mode7: Yep a render is a just fine, I just need to be able to trace the shapes. Doesn't need any special lighting or anything.

Thanks :)

That looks fantastic mode! Great work!
Not home now. Will finish in the next day or so. Heh heh, prepare for some serious shininess.

You know, it might just be easier for you to do a render. But whatevs, let me know. I could even touch it up when you're done rendering.

@chaos: just sketchup, other programs tend to confuse me or are too technical.
Though I'd like to try zbrush someday.

edit: here's the render use it if you want to:

Looks pretty good! Would love to start on it. But is it possible to render it on a transparent background?

EDIT: And antialiased? If not, then just do a huge render and it'll antialias when I scale it down. Will also be able to fine tune the details on a bigger canvas.

[/demanding]

You could just render a brown handle if you want, I can make it clothy.
