  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

thats strange as i've always had any problems with the rice video plugins but had no problems what so ever with 1964 video so it may be your .ini thats causing problems

Lag isn't the problem here... It's the fact the both plug-ins are not rendering a couple modals in the game.

Well anyway, everything is fine now... So Let's stay on topic...
@death-droid: Did you get a chance to fix the texture problem as I described in my post a couple pages ago?

Another quick question. Have static backgrounds changed in this retexture? I am using Rice 6.1.4 and everything seems to be fine, but the very low res static backgrounds look off. The first page states something about static backgrounds, so has it not been implemented yet or is it my video plugin?

@Erchino: Nope... Nobody has worked on them yet... There is a checklist of what's been re-textured and what hasn't been re-textured on the first post of this thread.

Tried editing the hat/skirt texture a bit, skirts kinda not too good so far, but the hat is looking decent. =P Oh, and new earrings too. Ignore the arms that was just a test...

The red line is where the hat area of the texture is located... >_> had to increase the res to 1024 to make it big enough for ok detail. =p

Sorry man but all of adult link's tunic has been done already, and pretty damn good. 1 thing you should always do before you start something is make certain that it hasn't already been done, unless what was done was crap, like some of my work D: I believe Zeckron made Link's tunic, has any 1 heard from him the past week or 2?

Did you finish those eyes of yours? You did an unbelievably fantastic job on the ones you showed in screenshots, it would be awesome to have them all done so godly and matching

I just finished throwing together a new texture. This is the flag/marker in the desert region. Once I finish the flag I can make the pole, which has part of the flag wrapped around it.

Looks good chaos. Almost can't tell it was redone, it looks a lot like the original but better quality of course.

@AaronLite you have some very nice work there, love it, also with the shield it would be great to use but it lacks a lot of quality in the texture and seems a little lo-res.Oh yeah it would be awesome if you could provide the 512 version of the eyes.
@Chaos personally i don't really like the newer version of the flag texture. The crosshatching doesn't really work for me.

ok i've just gone to dump some textures after upgrading to 1964 1.1 and relised that everything seems to be broken. i get 2fps and the screen flashes uncontrollably an textures are stretched diagonally across it. is this a problem with the emu or is it just a fault at my end?

I used 1964 1.1 just fine... It worked well for me... But not as good as Project64. ;)

Anyway... I was playing OoT and I ran into an error when entering the dungeon part of Dagongo's Cavern (Awesome re-texturing work in there. btw) And I got this pop-up error:

"Umm... Where does this block go"

To which my reply (Out loud... :p) was: "Idk, you tell me!! You confused jerk!!"

Lol....My question is: Is this error going to keep popping up every time I try to go into the Dagongo's Cavern's dungeons? Is it a one time flook?

The only way I could fathom a solution is to use a different plug-in... Probably I would use Jabo's.........

What version of what plugin are you using? Try the best plugin ever, 1964 video
