What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Uhh... that's because the ONLY ones that I have actually released myself were for Rice's plugin. I was never even aware (or contacted) that someone took the first two and converted them. If you want to do it yourself you can go through the game, dump every texture, match and replace all the ones that were retextured, and you're done. Hah, good luck.

Your packs are in the "Beta Downloads" page of the PJ64 members area, they only have the first 2, but they work for Jabos plugin none-the-less.

hehe, that was my fault. i asked jabo to convert your first two packs right when they came out. i just wanted to try them out with jabo's plugin. his converter only works with like 50-60% of the textures though, so not all of them are converted. it needs some work if he want to get that conversion percentage higher, but he doesn't have any time to work on it since it's probably on or near the bottom of his priorities list. i haven't really used those textures much though since not all of the textures are converted. you can find them in the beta downloads section if you wanna use them while your converting your textures, it's all in one zip file.

Hah, I'm not interested in converting them myself, I had always thought that Kman had posted his textures there, guess I was wrong.

Will you please just look at the first page and download the pack from the EmuTalk links lísted on the first page?

Like I said before, what emulator you use doesn't really make a difference. You just need Rice's Video plugin.

I've got pack 1 and 2 downloaded and installed into the respective folders. But the 3rd pack is corrupt I believe, I have d/led it three times, but it keeps saying its corrupt. Anyone have a different source for pack 3?

I just downloaded the third pack, and it's fine.

Yeah, the first link wasn't working for D/Ls earlier so I went through fileplanet, and that worked for all but the 3rd. Now the first link is working and I downloaded it fine.

Btw, the fileplanet file is corrupt...at least it was 6 hours ago. Might wanna check that.

I never noticed before, but the version of Master Quest that I'm using (the only ROM of Master Quest I have that works with Rice's plugin) is European. Are there any differences between the European and American releases? If so, what is the name of the ROM that works with Rice's plugin?

Thank you :)

I believe that was the work of Amon. He isn´t around here, because he´s trying to start a career in filmmaking.
