I knew that things were much different than the media was saying, just I had no idea how different.

bush is currently characterized as personified evil by a small part of the media tho i personally consider him mainly a puppet. you are really looking at this from a too extreme point of view.

the main issue is that mainstream media is populistic to the bone and will turn to the other side in half a second as long as they can make money. its happened plenty of times which is why its a good idea to take a look at alternative news sources like indymedia for example.

examples in american media: after 9/11 it was considered a sin to even slightly criticize the government and even journalists were fired for negative news. nowadays bad news sells.

also, its common knowledge that the heads of large media companies tend to push the networks to broadcast political messages that they want people to believe. a lot of german tv networks are owned by rupert murdoch, an outspoken war supporter.

really "independent" the media aint...

He also owns sky news in the UK, and fox news in the US.

There isn't, and never will be an un-biased media outlet. A person's personal beliefs and agendas will always affect what they write and say, no matter how hard they try to deny it. That is why it has to be up to the citizen to look to a variety of sources for news to get a view of the picture from all sides.

Unfortunately, there are many Americans that sit down in front of ABC's World News Tonight every night, and get up thinking they know what's going on in the world...

And then there are many that don't watch any news, and say things like, "Bush is an idiot because my friend's, uncle's, dog's previous owner said so." Scary part is, these people's votes count just as much as yours and mine...(not that they shouldn't, vote weighting by intelligence would be a terrible thing).

i think we should all get together and rig some votes. can't be to hard, smart people sould be able to do it no problemo. not that rep by pop is a bad thing, but some people just vote for the silliest reasons.
"i don't like the way that candidate looks, accent he has, etc"

You don't rig votes, thats illegal and you can get cought. You have to do it the legal way, which involves various mind control techniques, like the ones that I use on pan-- er...I think I have said too much.

no .. it isnt actually. youll notice the miss new york of 2003 is a gal called jessica lynch. thats really just a conspiracy theory :p

now what indeed was wrong is all the shit stories the media told about her ... "an american story" and the likes of it strying to make her appear like a hero. typical war propaganda. a few weeks ago the girl stepped in personally and told the real story tho. i hope this stuff is over.

Hence, representative democracy :p The majority isn't always right.

If that's the case, why go through the fucking farce of having democracy at all?

You're obviously proud that little shit-stain Bush is running our country into the ground, making as many enemies as possible, and playing as "Daddy's little boy" in getting Saddam.

Yet you fail to recognize the obvious in that bin Laden is still loose, and he was the target of this "war on terror".

Saddam has become the scapegoat for Bush's failure in getting bin Laden. Nothing more.

Well, if the majority is always right, then the fascist party in germany was right when they decided that the jews weren't worthy of existence.

Like I have said countless times, the idea of democracy isn't a mob rule, its a balance between all classes. I would have figured that several people would have understood that by now, but apparently some only believe whatever they want to believe.

Do you have any proof of this?

Let me give you a few facts here: The collapse of the .com industry had nothing to do with bush, nor did bush have anything to do with the collapse of any of the big non .com companies like enron. Also, when gore challenged the election results, there was a 20% drop in the stock market, and 9/11 didn't help either.

Guess what else? The democrats were telling you and people like you that Bush's tax cuts weren't helping anybody. Well, the first tax cut didn't take effect until may 2003, and its already causing the economy to rebound.

There is no proof anywhere of your claim that bush is driving anything into the hole; only half baked conspiracy theories. We do have plenty of proof, however, that bush has helped to correct the situation.

Might it also interest you, that the ringleader of 9/11 was trained in baghdad? I could go on, but I believe I have said enough with that one sentence.

tho i agree with your point mind if i correct you here. the nsdap never got past 44% of votes in the german parliament at 88% turnout in all. just thought id mention it. hitlers policys were never favored by a majority at any time - the majority of people was too coward to stand against the nazis when they got in power.

i have yet to find anything about that. any info material in this matter?

Probably written by a Republican.

And Bush can take his tax cuts and stick 'em up his ass.
I didn't get a red penny from them.
