Mystical Ninja is one of my favourite games too. But it's been emulating 100% perfectly for 2 years now...

The only one I know of that emulates it is 5.4.2, but it had massive slowdown on some sequences (opening title, Impact levels) with anything above 800x600 without AA; it also had some polygon issues and clipping problems on the hotel and other building interiors. If there was another plugin that did better than 5.9.9, I would like to know aperbag:

Here is a screenshot from PilotWings and the sky boundary. It is an improvement from the earlier releases I think, however I will show a screenshot from a real N64 for comparison.

So this screenshot is from 1964 0.99 and the latest Rice Video :-

Here is one other issue with PilotWings 64, I assume it is the software clipper. Also the RED/WHITE bullseye texture used to display the TARGET changes the red part of the color when you fly closer to it, and back to normal when you fly away away from it. In this picture you can see it is more of a green color than the red it should be.

I see pictures of Resi but when i use the plugin with either 1964 or PJ64 it just has a black screen. Can someone tell me how you got it working. Cheers

I can manage to get a game of Resi loaded up but it's just a black screen but you can see the pause screen when you pause and watch most of the beginning cutscene.

Full Screen flicker

5.6 and 5.99 video flickers in fullscreen mode only and in directx/possibly ogl. only in certain games. In 5.99 it shows frames overlapped by others too. Does anyone else get this?

i believe (not sure but) that the flickering is caused by incorrect frame update at settings , try different ones. or you could try changing the swap effect to copy instead of flip.

Tooltip behaviour

Hi all,
I just noticed that when I opened the video
plugin configuration dialog box in 1964 when Zelda OOT is running and
when the frame of the tooltip is displayed the game loose 20 VI/s !!
I know that this is not important in anyway as no one will play
the game while this dialog is opened.


Config :
P4 @1.5 GHz, Nvidia GeForce FX5200 with 128M.
Windows XP SP2 (DX 9.0c)

Thanks for your test Federelli, with Direct64 0.5 and 1964 and PJ64 with some plugins, same problem for all.
