Poobah -> How does Nintendo logo look like? Is it plain or striped?

Due to the 'scanlines' on my normal TV, I can't tell if it's plain or striped. However, I'm 100% sure that the white line is a glitch.

Project64 always crashes when I 'end emulation' or press F12. Also, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon doesn't start. The frame-rate counter just sits at '--.-'
AppName: project64.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00010f2b

Do you get the crash using Jabos D3D8 plugin?

For Mystical Ninha to load in the new PJ64, you need to change the memory handling to Protect Memory and the memory to 8mb. That boots it into the game.

Game is slow as noted, use an alternate plugin.

I didn't change any of those setting in PJ64, and the game booted fine. Well fine.. framerate drops to zero, but it will boot if you wait a little. It was the same in 1.5 so nothing's changed.

[offtopic] If anyone likes Goemon's music as well, I made a complete recording of all the music, and it will be released by #GameMusic soon (I hope soon). Just google around for #gamemusic and you'll find it.[/offtopic]

I've tried ending emulation with many video plugins, and I always get the same crash. The crash seems to occur in my graphics driver DLLs (nvoglnt.dll for example).

Again, did you try just with Jabos? Does it happen with Jabos?

The crash with OpenGL plugins is understood, it is interesting however if it happens with D3D ones too. Rices GL, GLN64, and Glide64 with Hacks wrapper may all crash on exiting emulation.

/edit just tested Rices GL mode and GLN64 - no crashes on ending emulation. I then ran Jabos D3D a few times and ended emulation. Again no crashes (fullscreen or window).

/edit x 2 Just tried Glide64 with Hack's wrapper - no probs exiting with F12. Maybe some odd interaction with drivers.

Jabos D3D shouldn't - especially not with a nvoglnt.dll error. Please try to be specific in your reports.

I though Project 64 was dead but I was wrong. I'm very very very happy with new release (I'm downloading it right now), thank you guys, you're just the best. And sorry for flooding but I have to show my happiness :) I love you for Project 64 (no, I'm not gay).

With jabo's I get:

ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00010f2b

Yes, it's most likely a problem with the nVidia drivers.

It's really great that PJ64 is still developing. I do love some N64 games :p
And I just re-play Paper Mario with my son, using PJ 1.5 with Rice 6.x, make it really playable, of cause, in some situations, it still slow(like upgrade member) or flickering, but it is really good to view the title scene normally.
Using PJ1.6 with D3D8 1.6, also work great at title and the beginning, but again flickering at Toad Town/Jade jungle(maybe some other places) when working.
PJ1.6 with D3D8 1.6 works great then PJ1.5/1.6 with Rice 6.x in Lavalava volcano, D3D8 shows Mario in colors, but Rice shows Mario only in black.

Thanks to the dev. :bouncy:

Yeah I get that Spycam too with a Radeon 8500. All I can think of is you've changed a setting Bill, or you don't have the latest drivers.

hey i got a radeon9800 and the camspy is completely black for me, anyone who has it working wanna show a screenshot or something of their Graphics plugin settings?

Graphics plugin settings should be all default - try;

Any res (windowed or fullscreen)
AF + AA if you want
2x Sai + force filtering

All other options should be off, and D3D clear should be at default

Hmm all is working fine for me except that when the emulator runs it slows down for 5-10 secs with framerate 7-9 fps then 30 secs fullspeed, and again slows down...
I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
