I agree that it does need new set of icons, but I am not very fond of these you've made either.

I like these new ones, but I think they'd suit PJ64 better if you stuck with the original colours. (At least the same red, anyway.)

i quite like that, it's like the n64 deck is melting, or you're on acid

couple probs
1) at small sizes the n64 isnt recognisable, need something else?
2) can you do a 16x16 aswell?

Making them glassier would be something like this

apparently, glass/reflections are soooooo 2006. unfortunately, by the time the next pj64 is out, it will no longer be 2006. so you better plan for the fashion after that
perhaps matte will be in then?
i agree that a standard font with poor edges will not be.

I agree with squall regarding the IE icon; the new one looks hideous!

I don't like the black and red gradient with the "1.2" icons. Other than that, I think they'd make a great replacement.

Well, you're missing the best icon I've seen to date. Well done rem! It's now my official icon! Just one thing though, its hard to see any red cos of it's 16x16 size.
