What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I honestly do not think anybody has a right to demand anything when they get it for free anyway. Is patience really an ability that most people lack? I am not trying to be cruel here people. But i really think you should cut him a break. I have known Djipi since i basically joined this forum, and i know he is a great guy. And i don't think he deserve to get so much pressure from some of you. Imagine the PM's he probably have received because of this project. Just take a deep breath. Glad to hear from you, Djipi! Hope all is well, and that work isn't killing you:D

Yes, it is. The truth is a harsh thing. I've lost almost all of my faith in humanity, but I still have some faith... not much. Anyway, hope all goes well for you, Djipi. Take all the time you need.

Firstly, I believe Djipi has all the right to release his stuff whenever he wants. However, it doesn't surprise me people have gotten impatient because 1) They know the pack is practically finished, 2) there really is nothing going on in this community other than this. It's the sad truth but it's about all dried up outside of this and when someone comes along and tries to tackle OoT as their first project with Google Image Searched images the whole scene is going to remain on Djipi's excellent work.

You can say that again. Djipi is to the N64 re-texture scene what Waninkoko was for the Wii modding scene, but basically without anyone else chipping in.

I love this texture pack so much (i mean OOT in this case), that i can't even play without it. xD
Good luck finishing your project. ^_^

We may very well see this for Christmas, and what an excellent gift it would be. :)

Hope all is well Djipi, glad to see you making more progress, and as always, appreciate your amazing work.
