  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Hm. Now, I know I'm going to get the wrong-end of a knife for this but I'm at a loss.

Now, I'm pretty much positive that I've done everything right. I've tried this both emulators (1964 and PJ64) and so far, it's all gone down. I've been through the entire thread about 20 times but this doesn't seem to be a problem with anyone else.

I download the plugin (Rice's Video Plugin v6.1.1) and put it in the plugin folder and then download the pack and put that in the hires_texture folder. So far so good? Well, I start the rom up. Everything looks fine and clean. Textures appear to be taking affect. However, once I get passed the prologue, the whole thing goes splat. The screen goes white and I can only see the top of the menu. I can move the cursor around but can't exactly see anything. See the problem?

Mollymutt, could you please post your settings file for Rice's plugin? Because everytime I enter the sewer, the screen goes black, and I can only hear the water.

EDIT: My update today: The Pokey and Pokey Mummy. Please tell me if they're too bright, I can easily make them a tone darker.

EDIT 2: I just found out I forgot to add the spikes to the bottom parts of the yellow one, so here is the bottom part, improved.

The pokeys are very good, reminds me of Glitzville on PM2 for some reason (That chapter ROCKS!) Oh, and Mollymutt, congratulations on becoming member of the month!

I use the default settings. In some areas, all I can see is the background. I don't know how to remedy this.

OK, just like I did with the zelda packs, I have found the Official font (incomplete) and have made the letters i have for you to use, its a photoshop file (RARed), and the letters should be large enough to use, and its smooth.

Unfortunatly its only some of the letters, you will need to make the additional letters such as accents and punctuation yourself.

I am also including a pdf file, for people who use vector software to import and work with.

Problem fixed. Forgot to switch to OpenGL. Ooops.

And with that, I wanted to have my hand at retextures. So, I gave the Prime Minister a makeover. The only problems (which can't be seen in a static image) are the eyes. aren't lined up properly. Also, it looks weird when it switches to the eyes closed.

Wasn't going for any paticuliar style. Just wanted it to stop looking so....bleh.

I've put it on hold until the new plugin is released. All of the textures have to be renamed for them to work on it.
