  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Well...you guys are sure doing a fine job...but...i prefer Djipi doing his cell shading stuff..like Ocarina of time, why don't you try cel sahding is Majoras's Mask too?

because he made a choice, dont question it, make it yourself if you want to.

Nintendo was questioned upon making wind waker, some faggots wanted it realistical, did that make nintendo go back in the plan and make a realistic one right away? no. why? because they felt that was the best choice, for the game.

Djipi already said that he feels that a realistical aproach is better for Majora Mask, because it features a darker scenery, and he's right.

I always tought about it when he was doing OoT cell shaded aproach, from the screens I saw from orkin's plugin... for majora mask it needed to be more darker in terms of contrast for example in links tunic. if cell shaded, Ocarina Of Style theme and colors would be just too "happy" for it.

It's great that djipi didn't atach his style to cell shaded graphics and turned unable to change it, get away from it, as most of you would want.
he's just expressing his free will as an artist when changing style, rather than continuing doing what he already did for Ocarina Of Time and people expect him to continue to do so.

I always felt that Majora's Mask was very gritty and grim compared to OOT. Heck, both times I tried to complete the game (still haven't, due to being a completist), I got depressed by the content and all the rewinding back to first day. Still, if I knew a way to clear the game in two to three cycles (6-9 days), only then would I find it less grim, because I did not stay long in Termina.

Djipi, that above screenshot is rediculously morbid... I love it! Now, what I would get a kick out of is a high res sky. Man, a high res form of those dark clouds would really kick serious ass.

My side question is solved, so I have edited it out. No problems here.

Bla bla bla..ok.. i get your point, but i just asked with he could do it, don't come with "don't question it" who the hell u think u are? anyway this project is GREAT but, still... i prefer the cell shaded one...well Djipi and mdta keep up the good work

btw, i just don't do one, because i don't know how, but...anyway majoras mask really fits better in this realistic thing then the OOT would do, MM is less...childish

I agree with you Lucas, I think that comment by Pedrocasilva was highly inappropriate. You were simply suggesting, not ordering, and I think this is one of the main ways flame wars start. So in future pedro, keep your opinions to yourself. A suggestion is a way of proposing an idea, and an order is totally different.

BTW Djipi, I loved that last screen!!! It looks so beautiful

The shield is the Hylian Shield, but it is supposed to be the Hero's Shield, dont worry, it will be fixed...

After working on it cel-shaded, we thought the game would suit a more realistic style. I would be happy for someone to do a cel-shaded version if they want, we are working on it in our own vision, so we will not always be sticking to the original.
