  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

  • As members seem to have a problem reading the release threads:

    Djipi's packs are built for the (Glide64 finale) Plugin. Nolonger supported!
    Djipi's packs are built for the (GlideN64) Plugin.
    These two Plugins are two completely different pieces of code.

    GlideN64.HTC archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on Glide64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

    Glide64.DAT archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on GlideN64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

    Djipi has never made a pack for use with Rice video and never will. any packs found in this format are not authorized!

    GlideN64 is the new standard and only requires an Radeon 6XXX.
    This is a somewhat older GPU and should be readily available.
    Do everyone a favor and upgrade!

Nearing the end of this project now...can almost taste completion. Heres some more map tweaks.
Anyone who can dump rainbow road properly should post the neon face animation and such would be greatly appreciated.

well png_all should just force the alpha, but I dont think im doing it right otherwise it would load with out missing some transparent black stuff.

Kerb: I'm having the same trouble in my own project (Goemon), where textures sometimes don't load for unknown reasons and there seem to be a few 'phantom' alpha layers (they won't dump, but yet I have to do up my own for the new textures to work properly). It would be good if Rice could shed some light on some of these things.

I feel ya..I just assume Rice has been working on tweaks of his own on the plugin (assuming that based on lack of updates where there should be) but Rice does good work so whatever comes out will be awsome thats to be known.

Another issue with the plugin as far as I can tell is that these two parts shift away from where they are supposed to be....die color indexing die, and yes boo is fully animated for those wondering.

Well I know this isn't the solution you were hoping for, but you could just edit the picture so they shift a bit and match up when the game puts them together like this.

This is the closest I could get for some reason...anyone else think it overlaps? I could easily re-do it to make sure it wasnt my error, anyhow I still need rainbow road dumps so anyone feeling helpful jump in.
I messed with it a bit, and it appears to cut off like 1 pixel mb 2 of information mb I could just push the image down 2 pixels....yea that might work.

Here's the dumps you wanted (I got them in both formats, depending on how you like them). And also I noticed that the original Boo has the same clipping problem.

The shell looks fantastic.
By the way, the "lap" text looks a bit squished, in my opinion. Did you mean to do it like that?

well they don't overlap (one pixel gap in screenie) but I don't know what else and they all seem to do it, not only boo

I've seen other games that do this to the texture ... makes it a bit of pain a to skin but it can be done, you just need to work on the "joining lines" but i don't think you'd ever be able to get it to match 100%...
