the mirror shield was one of the last things to be fixed... without your specs i can't really say much except it does work perfectly AFAIK on a good graphics card.

In Wipeout64 there is a bug that existed and in previous versions of PJ64.When you load a game it then freezes in the challenge selection screen. This also happens and when ending the last challenge (you have to do that at once, with no saving), it freezes and then you can't save the game,so you actually can't finish the game.
Sorry to go OT, but how is it you are managing to play games at all? I though ALL video-games had been banned in Greece, even Snake on Mobile phones Etc...
Story here:http://www.anchordesk.co.uk/story/0,,t479-s2121790,00.html
Anyhow :pj64: 1.5 ROCKS!
...If only Banjo-tooie didn't freeze randomly. It froze once during the intro (just before Bottles Dies). I then ran it again, it didn't freeze at that point.
I tested this (the intro) about 10 times over, and out of those the game froze at the same spot twice, and a third time just before Gruntilda gets into the Drilling Machine. Computers run on a system of logic, and crashing once and then not the next time is illogical.:!!!:???
Most In-game freezes for me have occurred during game transitions from one area to another (eg. entering/exiting mumbos hut, jinjo kings temple, jinjo houses) Is this an issue with the new plug-in, or the decryption system? Getting lots of pausing too, one big pause, then lots of smaller pauses as you explore new areas. I don't think this is the same core issue, as Banjo-Kazooie is completely PERFECT. I've collected quite a few screen-shots of these pauses, if anyone wants me to post them I can :) System Specs: Geforce 4 Ti4600 (Detonator XP 23.x?) also tested with latest from nvidia's website (unsure of version no.)
Athalon XP 1900+ Abit KT7a Mobo, 512mb pc133 ram (interleaved mode enabled, two sticks of 256mb) Gamesurround Fortissimo II soundcard, Win XP pro SP1 I'd love to help in anyway I can to get this running sweetly!:pj64:

Zilla, does turning off Larger Compiler Buffer and SP Hack help you at all (ROM Settings)? What about if you use the 1.4 video plugin?

His specs are in his sig, and obviously, his gfx card is quite capable.

Which Detonator driver will fix that???
Bositman has a report for this in the first page: "Use 23.xx drivers".Or if you have the "infinite loop" problem with them you can try 12.41.

erm.. i reported that to bositman and bositman reported it here. :)

1) I had sigs turned off, but so many people use them for specs ive had to put back on
2) a GF4MX is not great, i dunno
3) are you saying you have the same problem?

Yeah Sheik i was wrong...thanks to 64ultramaniac you can go and download those d*mn drivers :p
I havent test it but it works for cooliscool
Also after testing the pausing issue i found out that the first pause ALWAYS happens after 40-60 seconds of pure gameplay(eg at mariokart start counting when you first see the level)

I'm using 23.12 drivers. Just search google for em and it should be pretty easy from there. :):):)

Smiff: i have a GF4MX 420 PCI 64mb and i don't get the error. The only thing i can suggest is to use the 23.12 drivers.

also, in the help file for pj you stated that mmx etc. doesn;t help a weak FPU, MMX doesn't as it's integer operations not decimal, but 3dnow (like sse) was specifiacally made for speeding up the K6's un-pipelined FPU (most of the time quite a bit faster than a pipelined FPU, when used of course :)) So, if pj uses 3dnow like it says, then it's helping the K6's weak fpu (most likely the reason for the 45+ fps i can get in pj) :D

Good idea Haven't changed any settings yet apart form windowed resolution, as I only got 1.5 today:pj64: :D :D I'll try tommorow.
Getting pretty bored of watching intro now lol, but I guess it's the best way of testing, as the plugin should render everything exactly the same each time.:) Theoretically of course:sly:
On a side note, I've been playing with v1.4 source for some time now, and I think when it's ready you might like what you find.:D

1.4 plugin is worse.:plain:

Also white in-game 90% of the time, using default plugin settings, apart form windowed Res. Turning off larger compile buffer doesn't appear to do anything, turning off sp hack causes a 'memory could not be read' error (encryption?), also when both turned off 'memory could not be read' this is when opening a native save.

Zilla, I don't think that there are special locations where the game freezes. For me, I can just hit F2 to pause when it freezes, wait some secs and hit F2 again to unpause, and voila, emulation goes on. Did you try this already?

Sometimes I thought it only crashes at locations where there is much work to do by the processor/system, this would also explain why the pause trick works, but I don't know if it's right.

Besides, it didn't crash now for a while, I can play very long most of the time.

Hey guys awesome job. When I first fired up WWF: No Mercy, my jaw dropped. Loving it :D. Until I started championship mode, and saw the text of the wrestlers is still pitch black. Oh well, can't have it all, now can we? If there is any option that I could set to see the text, please enlighten me. If not, oh well, great job. Thanks for the effort guys, and keep up the great work.

Can you see the opitions menus now? I wantto change to hard.

Multiplay - Network

Would you please be so nice to add Multiplay over Network as a last feature to PJ64 (v1.5) and put it up for download then.

Thanks if you will do that.
