Does anyone know if there's a plugin or emulator that properly emulates the map mode for Doom 64? On every emulator I've ever tried, only the map textures mode works. The map line mode is completely blank except for solid triangles of the player, monsters, and objects.

I have a real N64 and Doom 64. The map lines mode is suppose to be outlines of the level structure and the triangles for players, monsters, and object are suppose to be empty outlines. I have a specific need for an emulator that properly displays map lines mode on Doom 64.

I can't get my project 64 1.5 to work! It won't initialize the HAL of my intel 82810e intergarted card. It say's " Direct3D failed to intialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0". Then when ok is clicked "default or selected video plugin is missing of invalid. check that you have at least one compatible plugin file in your plugin folder". Which I have got as I install the default! it loads the setting, everything is in default, no changes. Click OK and the emulator opens. try to open a rom and this error pop's up "cannot open a rom because plugind have not successfully initialised." The I try configure graphics and this happens. " Intialize the dll before you try config it!".

I meet and exceed the maximum requirments for the emulator. Please can any one help. Any suggestions?

Keep up the good work!

Your emulation technology is excellent. Perhaps when I get a degree in the area of Computer Programming I can join in your effort...

In any event, while I don't think there will be another version of Project 64 for quite some time, you did not say you wouldn't continue (merely that you are taking a break), therefore I still have hope that in the near/distant future, we will have perfect emulation for those games with the annoying video delay (such as DK64 and Banjo-Kazooie)

You have gone farther than any other emulation program, thanks for the effort!

By the way, this is my favorite smiley:

If anyone's still wonderin', u need a GF3 or better to get the nayruu's love and the treasure chest effect in Zelda on jabo's 1.5, lower than that doesn't have good enough blending capability or whatever...

Two words. Simply amazing. Its great to finally be able to see the weapon sprites in Doom64. I knew PJ64 team would figure it out eventually. I also noticed that the phased lighting in level 1 works also. Again great job Project 64 team. Keep up the good work. :pj64: forever.

Stupid...
that's not true. GF2 users can get it right. It worked it previous versions, afaik. And it's the new blending only that's too advanced for gf2.

And the thing that gf2 users DO get it right. :plain2:

And how is that? I've tried every driver, unofficial as well as official, and none of them worked. I would like to know how to make GF2 have more advanced blending capabilities than itself, and thats the point here, everything else in Zelda OoT (as far as i know) is smooth as a babys behind :pj64:

And another thing: How do u know it works, u both have gF4?

Is there any connection between your post and that picture?
