Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.
If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I'm new to this site and don't have much experience with emulators. I have Ocarina of Time for Project64, but anyway ... now that I downloaded the High Res pack, what do I do with it? Which emulator/ROM does it go with? How do I add it or activate it? I'm a n00b, please help.

I just started making a simple movie of OoT, using an actual N64 and a video capture device, but there are some issues editing because of the music. Here is my dream, and if anyone can tell me how I can do this it would be totally awesome: I want Ocarina of Time ... with no onscreen icons, no music, and a way to record/capture it. Bonuses: if this was all in high-res that would be twice as awesome, and if I could edit the in-game text, yeah, wow! Is there a way I can edit the game (graphics/text/sound)?

o_o nvm I see what happened. Well, Federelli, that sounds like Martin"s doing; he may have changed something about the site and forgot about how it might have effected your hi-res project.
Do you still have it on disk? You can try using a different website to upload it. I recommend FileSend - Free File Hosting and Delivery, but you can also use MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service if you prefer. Both will host your uploaded file for 30 days since the last time the file was downloaded, so if people keep downloading it, your file will never expire.

Hey, I'm just having a little trouble downloading from the file planet locations? They keep sending me to an error page. I've done most everything to lower my security on my computer, but I still get the same message. Is there any reason the download links shouldn't be working? Are they old? If so, where are the new ones? Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Nope. Ain't no way I'm registering for a retarded website just to download a file. The least they could have done was use megaupload.com instead or something.
Sorry to quote a post that old, just wondering how exactly you hide the HUD? Do you just use the BETA-quest cheat, or something else?

Iconclast, you don't have to. There's a couple of links for non-registered users underneath. Trust me, I wouldn't register just to obtain a few files, either.
