What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

the logo is (imo) a bit to bright and colorful
which logo, OOT (Red) or MQ (Blue)

if you could make both logos a little bigger, it will be perfect, Ocarina of Time's logo is ment to be colourful
it's the biggest possible (texture width is 640, and logo is 612 + Blur effect = littly more than 640)...

its cos its not as tall as the original (proper) "ZELDA" text... I dont know why Nintendo stretched it out...

No offense, but does any actually care about this?

No offense, but no, we really don't. That was taken out of the game, and everyone's working on other things at the moment. Perhaps it would fit this thread better if you retextured the real pedastal then submit it to see what people think.

soniclink2, it's just that you won't be able to do much more with the dungeon maps.

Zey, try lowering the brightness on the MQ Zelda word, it's way to bright

but background littly affect the logo too (I want say : if background is dark then logo is darker)

Isnt gimp a photoshop clone? I think I had Gimp once for OSX. You should seriously seperate the Zelda from the shield logo using the softwares layer system, and just brighten up the shield, if it looks to dull add more saturation till it looks normal. Im pretty sure anyhow that gimp uses layers.

yes, The Gimp have layer (but not a clone of photoshop, The Gimp is better :p), only difference with Photoshop is the price ;). It's a software that is originally developped for the lovely Linux ;)

but, i don't understand, some people said me more bright and other said less bright (on the MQ Logo)... please make clear, MORE or LESS ?

EDIT: I've forgot to say : I already have knowledge to use saturation for ... but the problem is that logo is a scanned and make like some vertical lines colored when I search to "find" color on the dark part...

hi I'm a noob here and I really wanna play this! but I have a problem, and I did try to search the last posts before I asked this so I'm sorry if it has in fact already been asked. But when I enter the texture filter to change it to "Load hi-res textures if available" it just tells me that "advanced options are not allowed to be made" and I've downloaded two different emulators and they have said the same thing.

As far as I know, GIMP is Photoshop 4 feature-wise.

finally, I decide to restart one more time because I found a little way to make logo bigger...

At this point, I didn't change the colour ...

I need Your opinion on the COLOURS (I don't take care about what is said before this one). please, say clearly what do you think is need (colours).

notes :
- don't warn me about the unaligned fire effect
- don't ask why "THE LEGEND OF" and "OCARINA OF TIME" look like this!

the shield could be a little darker on the blue, and then it should be fine.

What font are you using for the "THE LEGEND OF" and "OCARINA OF TIME" bits?

The font used on the printed logo is CHARLESWORTH or something like that, rather than the Arial type font used in game!
