  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

He's complaining about how he can't change the colour of the maps. It doesn't have anything to do with the dumps; the game just changes the colour of the map to cyan to make it match the other maps. You can change the colour, but only to a certain extent, so I suggest you just stick with the cyan.

I made a texture for Kokiri Village by combined two already made textures. However, whenever this texture is loaded the graphics become corrupted in the village.

The first picture shows the old texture, and everything working perfectly.

The second picture shows what happens when i try to load my new texture.

The third and fourth pics are of the old and new textures.

Can someone try loading the new texture on their machine to check if this problem is just for me, or common.

nice work, work fine for me... probably, you've another texture file (corrupted) load that make some other look like corrupted...
Try with only this texture load and if it's fix :luck:

Need a little Assistance

Kman, I am currently texturing the Water Temple, and I was wondering if you were up to the challenge of redoing one of the more complicated ones that I can't seem to handle :\ It's obviously the water rising emblem where you play Zelda's Lullaby to change the water level. The help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally, that one texture always bugged me...but I could never successfully make a good one.

I know, but i just ask for shield's colours ;)

I think work on 'fire effect' in last (because oot logo and mq logo use the same...)

as you can see, "THE LEGEND OF" and "OCARINA OF TIME" is not redo too...

But, I suppose, you are ok for the shield now, it is ?

they have some dependance with oot logo and master quest but oot logo need more work (on the shield)... you can see in this thread I've already done both logo, just need some "tweaks"

time to fix all on both logo, properly place (and maybe resize) "THE LEGEND OF" and "OCARINA OF TIME" and last, redo the fire effect...

I made a few more textures for the really low resolution parts of kokiri village (that were also bugging me). Federrelli, are they good enough to be put in the pack?

Personally, I didn't like the black and white 'squares' under the entrances to the different people's houses. The walls look good enough to me, but I think they could be improved.

i think those comes from simply not retextured areas... still some nice elements!

That particular wall texture, yet unretextured, must be a perfect texture, otherwise it makes kokiri forest look very weird, as seen on those shots.

^^ It does make it look a bit weird actually, but it's a good placeholder texture until we get it properly done.

The black and white 'squares' look like bugs with your video card rather than texture issues, so that can't be fixed. As to the walls - not all of the walls have been retextured yet, so I would say that's the problem. Remember, not all that much has actually been done yet.
