What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Djipi's Final Cel Zelda MOD

Simply a code.

Visually it's great. Gameplay wise, it's a bit odd in places.

Reasons:
1. If I were to click the right C-button in your picture, the game will select the bombs. Down C-button will select the deku nuts. And I don't know about you, but I think they should be switched.

2. In the subscreen, the "Save" text is designated to stay in the original position. You need another code to move that text to the B button. Same with the ocarina. The "Stop" text does the same.

But then again.. I am using this code:

Code:

Thinking about the trouble with the text in the game e.g. Save positioning, you might have the same problem with map icons and the movement indicator, but give it a try and see.

Also, I know what The Z means about the C buttons, but you can also map your keys to compensate for this. but if you did that, your ocarina could go weird, so i think its best to change the layout of each key..
Code:
      Up ^
Left < > Right
 B A V Down

EDIT: That looked better in the text box, ill do a diagram once ive finished scanning my PC for viruses (as friday does... found 4 so far, damn Gamespy crap...)

This cheat should have his own post…
and, in that way, I will not feel bad when I say
“I can’t do it work!”

Could you say the GOOD NAME
to every list of cheats?

I just try with both
- the legend of zelda, the - ocarina of time - master quest (e) [!].z64
- legend of zelda, the - ocarina of time (u) (v1.2) [!].z64
and nothing happened.

whoa, i had no idea you could do that with a gameshark code. It's amazing how talented some people are.
You can pretty much modify everything in a game with a cheating device. ;P

You would have to re-find the code. The only reason I was able to port it was because there is a certain value you add to a v1.0 (U) code to make it into a v1.0 (E) code. You can't add a certain amount of hex to a v1.0/v1.2/ect to make it a Majora's Mask code, as far as I know. :) And of course I know this from TS.

How would we find out codes for certain things? I mean like changing the menu colour, button colours, etc.. Is there anywhere I can go / tools I can download to do this? I mean, there needs to be a way to view what addresses have what, and AFAIK, hex editing wouldn't give me the answer would it? any tools to convert it into cheat codes, etc.?

I have found the adresses for the GUI in Majora's Mask and Super Mario 64. MM is very differnt from OoT because for some reason the items are linked to the buttons. As for Super Mario 64, as far as I can tell, you can only modify the X location of the icons. Thanks for crediting me :)

Hmm... I didn't consider the use of Gameshark codes to rearrange the HUD and change texture colors, but it makes perfect sense... And could be VERY helpful on the project I'm working on. I'll put up some pics of my project soon (very soon), and then with any luck perhaps you guys can help me out? I've only been putting off announcing my project because I don't have much done >_>

klasa, I don't see why not. I checked the graphics, they contain no colour..

You could have spawned some bigger improvements in the game using cheat codes by the looks of things Im Bored.

Zeldafan, I checked the ocarina, it doesnt have the same traits as the ocarina of time, so there'd be no point using it.. I think the one currently used is perfect the way it is.

This is the best i could get it..

Zelda-Ocarina.png

I just want to point out though that the ocarina on the zelda website is vector since its in flash, so if you can make the SWF bigger, you can pull a bigger, crisper picture.

http://www.zelda.com/minishcap/launch/_swf/zmc_shell.swf

But when I tried the SWF site, it didnt load. You guys might aswell give it a shot.

thanks a bunch hatrix! I looked through the Minish Cap inscruction booklet and found a bow and arrow that resembles the OoT bow more, and a boomerang that resembles the OoT boomerang more as well.
