  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

They have been retextured, but Rice's plugin currently has a problem loading some of them. Perhaps if Orkin's plugin is released at the same time as the pack, or if Rice fixes the bug, it won't be an issue.

Hola all you boys and girls, just thought i'd post to all you restless folks, I am still working on Majora's Mask, but i've been taking care of things in my personal life, so I havent had much time to work on it in the last week. I just want you all to know i'm still hard at work, so stay patient. I'll post an update with pics later this week, prolly friday.

Hm, I liked your stuff pretty much so far, but I have to say, I on't like the moon too much...it's the coolest thing in the game, so I'm pretty careful with it ;)

unfortunately its also one of the hardest things to do as well, i tried a bunch of stuff on it, and it just didnt do it justice. so i just went with a cutout filter :S trust me, it looks much better than anything else i could do, and pictures dont do it justice, you need to see it in game. if you have any suggestions on what could be done different, let me know.

Yeah, I guess it's really hard to make...I wouldn't have a better solution either...
But oh well, I think when the whole game has a different look, it will fit in there pretty well... just keep it up :)

I actually like the moon. It ALWAYS looked gay durring the day, and it really starts to look cool at night. I like it... definate improvement as far as i'm concerned.

I dunno...something looks a little weird. Maybe reference some Wind Waker stuff, and even though it's a little bit smaller look at the moon in that game. But If I remember correctly, it does kind of have that "cutout" look to it. Still just checking it out couldn't hurt.

At first I didn't like the moon, but the more I look at it the more I think it fits. I can just see WW's Link whipping out his telescope and seeing this in the sky.

I think the moon is quite splendid!
I mean, since you're going for the Wind Wakerish look, you need to create some kind of "3D elements that look 2D" and that moon has really done it. I you needn't tweak it anymore, it looks perfect to me!
And skullkid as well, of course. Your character textures are somehow impressive at their attempt to be cel-shaded without the use of a plugin. I can't really tell what that feeling is, but I think you all understand me if you have played through Wind Waker, right?
You should try combining Djipi's and Mollymut's textures with yours to create the ultimate cell-shading experience on the N64 Zelda games.
I just wonder what it would look like if the sky textures in both pics were replaced with the Wind Waker clouds Djipi made. The effect would be so impressive that I'm pretty sure most people who saw it would think they were secret scenes in Wind Waker!

Oh and by the way, I'm trying to exceed myself with my English because I'm running for the Cambridge Proficiency Examination, so if anybody finds any error, I would be pleased if you told me, thank you :p

Well, I hope I didn't fall too much into disgrace by criticizing your moon (which I do admit, looks better and better the more often I look at it o_O ) ;)

I always find that the HUD makes a great bit of image quality and you see it all the time...I think, if those were done, the game would already look a whole bit better :)

Not really grammatical, just missing whatever verb you wanted to use.

El Kameleon, your work is great. Another powerful addition to the retexturing gods.

just a quick little something i'm trying out, tell me what you think, i decided to give link more of a windwaker-esque face, i think it actually shows more emotion this way. what do you all think? its just a rough job, if you all like it, i'm gonna clean up the lines and redraw some stuff.
