What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

El Kameleon, your'e doing a great job, but if you want to do something to add to the OOT project, re-texture the interior of the houses. I'm almost positive that they have't been done yet.

I would, but that would require extensive knowledge of 3D work, which I dont really have. If someone did the 3D work, I will for sure apply the textures.

All of this has been adressed already. Orkin's plugin is in ALPHA status, and is very buggy with lots of problems. He is not the type of person who is going to release a project that is not up to par. A few days back he posted an update that said he was busy but going to get a copy of his plugin ready for this pack ASAP. So, like the rest of us, you'll have to wait for him to get it ready, as he isn't going to release something that's not done.

Djipi hasn't uploaded his pack yet because of personal problems and a lack of home internet. When he gets it uploaded, it will be mirrored by myself and some others and should be widely available. Most of us have been waiting for this since much earlier in the year, so with a few weeks left -- get over it.

Lol ye, I didn't tell them though where I got the screens from or who was making the project. I also hosted the screenshots of my own personal image account on Photobucket, so they were left clueless.

There aren't any laws that say you can't post screenshots from a modded ROM. That's complete stupidity.

It IS illegal to mod (hack) a ROM, or to have ANY ROM at all--regardless of what you might think. The 24-hour thing is incorrect. It says that if you own the ORIGINAL cart from which the ROM was dumped, you can have it on your computer for 24 hours.

Obviously, even if you have Ocarina of Time and you download it off the internet, it's very much illegal.

But a) its a 7 year old game and b) I have every version of Ocarina of Time legally(2 for N64, and the 2 for GCN)...including a US 1.0 Gold (which considering I'm in the UK, is big), I doubt Nntendo's gonna come knocking on my door...

The point that he's making is that downloading ROMs of games in general are 100% illegal (in the US at least). But yea, I doubt anyone's going to be prosecuted for having a ROM. :p

I found this post on romnation.net on 06.18.05 at 2:31 am saying: Today, the IDSA, now known the ESA, demanded the removal of seven additional properties. By their demand, the following intellectual properties are no longer available for download
Brute Force
Final Fantasy
Metroid
Oddworld
Tekken
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Wario

Yeah i just noticed just saying that if the IDSA want to do you they will if u dont comply. You dont thing they would care about the production of Celda if they knew about it would they??

There's very little legal action that could be taken. All that Djipi will be distributing are image files that he, himself, created that just so happen to be named in a way that a certain plugin can make use of them. Nothing he is going to distribute is copyrighted.
